The kid did it to himself. He had the best deal a driver could ask for. How many top drivers would kill to have the job security that he once had? He had a top 5 team in the country and he pissed it right down the drain over t-shirt money. Hopefully he now realizes how stupid that was and fixed his shitty attitude. Some of the things I've seen from him the last couple of years would've lead most owners to fire him. But he got chance after chance until he finally did himself in. Hopefully if he gets another chance in the 39m, he'll act like more of an adult this time around.

Like what?

I don't have any inside info... all I've seen him do is win a lot of races vs. good competition

I've witnessed more than one tantrum in the pits directed at his crew that would put any 3 year old to shame.

And yet, folks are all over social media sticking up for him and blaming the family.   LMFAO!  I know nothing of the situation, but it took me all of about 15 seconds to figure out what the problem likely was.  And as time goes by, my initial thoughts have all been confirmed.

Just like in a divorce. I have always said there are usually three sides to the story. His side, her side, and the truth which usually lies somewhere between the other two.

Yeah it doesn't take much to figure it out. The dots all connect pretty easily unless you're one of those tribal minded people who pick a favorite and die on the hill no matter what happens.

I said when Shuttlesworth walked away that was the first domino to fall in what would ultimately be his fall from grace and here we are..........

Still, the young man can drive. I was surprised to not see him in a car this weekend. If i was looking for a driver to run the dream race last night, he would have been the first person I'd call. He's ran the 20 car in PA (360 and 410) and had a lot of success. That would seem to be a good ride for him, at least temporarily. I get the feeling that he's become bored with racing at the same tracks in PA and would rather be on the road though.

Not like a divorce.  In a divorce a judge settles who has what, who gets what, etc.  In the case of a fired "employee" the employer tells the employee to take a hike.

Rules:  1.  The boss is always right.   2.  If the boss is wrong, see #1

Seems to me , that all was posted was Sanders indicated in an interview, that this was his  last weekend I the car. I am not sure how you jump from that to slamming hoseheads posters ending his career. Were you drinking and posting at the same time?

No the boss is not always right. If he is not you decide whether or not taking his crap is better than what you will have if you move on. If you move on you don't look back you just do your best from there which can be costly or it could eventually turn out to be the best thing you ever did. It might take more than the few weeks this has been for that to happen though.

If I was Nick I would not put Anthony back in the car this year I would park it which I know wont happen before I put him back in it! Best equipment in the country or right up there so I am sure he can find someone probably Lance to finish the year out.

If he left on his own accord, that is fine.  If he was let go, and it was because of a "difference of opinion" then the guy writing the checks is always right.................................whether he's making the best decisions or not.  If I'm running a business, no one makes the final decisions on anything business related but me.  It doesn't mean I don't ask for my employees opinions, and it doesn't always mean I actually made the right call.  It does mean however, that I make the final decision on what is going to be done.
