Next year we will see how much Speedweek affected the HighBanks. Looks like PA Speedweek will start later to allow PA teams the opportunity to go to Husets. Info source... PA Speedweek Twitter

Pa. Speedweek will not start later to accomadate anything. It has always centered around the 4th of July, the dates fluxuate depending on the day of week that the 4th falls on.

I know you are trying to get a rise and are trying to be funny, but I would not classify Anthony Macri and Brent Marks as backmarkers. They have nothing to prove to you. Their results over the last few years, throughot the country I might add, speaks volumes. You had the driver who won the most money in Marks and the driver with the most wins, Macri in 2022.

Even the Posse realize their Speedweeks needs some outside cars. Nice to see them accommodate the bigger paying shows and moving it back a week.

The weeks may falll differently next year but history shows when the 4th is early in the week the earlier dates are used. When the 4th is the last half of the week the later dates are used. Next year the 4th is Thursday. Most years the end of Ohio and the begiinnig of Pa. conflict, this year they did not. That race and the weather forecast both likely cut down on travelers for pa. speedweek. I have not heard any complaints about the racing yet. Weather and lack of Larson Groupies have likely hurt attendance a bit.

Macri a backmarker check his stats out the last 20 races or so then tell me that and it was racing all over the place not just in Pa! He did fine the week he ran out at Husets

I was amazed at the lack of Pennsylvania cars at Husets for the High Banks Nationals. I was told it was partially due to the displeasure with the payout further back in the fields of the B and C features. Anyone care to coment on this.

Go back and see what the Mopar Million paid in 2003. When STARTING a "BIG SHOW" A FEATURE in 2023 pays half or one third what it paid twenty years ago, you quickly realize where the top money from these Reverse Robin Hood races comes from.

What surprised me more then the lack of PA cars was Kinser, Scheurenberg and Lynton Jeffrey racing at the IRA show in Illinois that night....

He's been there and done that. Time to research a new track and have some fun. Husets is a wrecking yard, always has been always will be. Good for him avoiding the place to enjoy other venues.

Yeah, I feel ashamed now. Whatever I said was probably the biggest controversy ever on this forum. Nobody is a bigger jerk than that old guy in Minnesota who spends his retirement watching races on Dirtvision and Floracing. Every once in a while I even venture onto a Vikings forum and stir things up. You should be outraged and tell Brad about that trouble maker!

That makes two of us that don't know wtf taking a shot at me was about. The point of my post was that drivers in the Midwest (and the rest of they country) aren't intimidated by traveling racers. I used the example of "adopted midwesterner" Tim Kaeding responding to Brad with the words "wah, wah, wah". I am not a hater of Brad, Tim or any other driver. If Sprint Car racing got me so riled up that I hated drivers why the hell would I subject my blood pressure to that kind of abuse?
