did anybody see what happened between rahmer and borden saturday night at lincoln? freddie pulled a really tight slider on borden off of 4 while they were racing for the lead. borden crossed over and was underneath freddie going into 1. freddie drove into him going into the corner which spun borden out and ended his night. the post race interview made me think freddie didn't even realize he wrecked him. he said he was glad he could get the lead before the caution came out like he didn't know the caution was for him wrecking borden.
this was a little worse for me than the wagner-macri deal since freddie almost wrecked him twice. my only beef with freddie is he makes little passive aggressive comments about other drivers like dietrich in some of his interviews. he races as hard as some of these othe guys at times.

I guess you can you look at this incident totally different depending on who you root for (and I am a huge Freddie fan). In my opinion, Borden was a little impatient and stuck his nose under Freddie going into the turn and got spun out. Just a racing deal. I think Borden is a rising talent in the sport, but his inexperience and mechanical mistakes have cost him a few wins lately. He just needs seat time and experience. Hopefully he is not feeling too much pressure from his car owner Mike Heffner and pressing too hard?

I think Borden called it a racing incident on Twitter, it looked to me like hard racing for the lead late in the race.

i thought borden showed a lot of maturity but not hopping out of his car and getting upset like he did at one point last year. even better if he didn't create drama on twitter.
i'll bite my toungue (sore of) on your heffner comment. i've been beaten up here in the past for questioning the almighty mike heffner. he seems to be taking a more developmental approach by investing in briggs danner's team on top of hiring an up and coming driver. the question is whether he'll give them time to improve. i think borden has done well in that ride with wins at a couple different tracks i believe. briggs is racking up wins in the usac east coast series and showing some early promise in a winged car. i'm curious if some of the push to run 410 wing stuff comes from heffner and i hope briggs doesn't take on too much too early especially if that's not the route he wants to go.
if these kids get pushed and don't win...they could be shown the door..and neither driver deserves to have their confidence ruined at this stage of their careers.

You are dead wrong....I go to plenty of races. Yes, I realize that, but hard, black, and dry is still hard, black and dry no matter how you slice it.

Barb doesn't have to go to a lot of races to be an expert on "hard, black and dry"

Who do you mean by Barb? You have to be looking in the mirror again. Boring racing is hard black and dry.
