Boys, does it matter to get all worked up on who thinks there right?

I thought Jeff Shepard’s brother, Judd was driving the 141...

I'm mostly concerned with the number. 141? Is this a Champ car? Does it have a starter? A 100 gallon tank?

Nothing worked up here, haha. I just feel its sad how the owner has treated PPM over this deal, but again im not suprised by her. But it is Silly Season time and you never know whats gonna happen.
|
I thought the owner was actually Phillip Dietz of the 14 but then again it shows that it is PPM Racing LLC ont he Outlaws site. I don't think it is Bobbi being unfair or a bad owner as JJR tweeted that Shane Stewart would be in the 41 with PPM in the 141. A few hours later Indy Race Parts tweeted that PPM would be in the 71. Seems odd that in a span of 5-6hrs things would change and I don't think that would be on JJR's side. It could be PPM securing something in for 2021 & beyond and getting his future more secured which I don't begrudge a bit. Of course it could also be sour grapes over not getting the 41 seat this week or next year and now someone is taking their ball and going home. Either way, I am not faulting JJR/Bobbi for her decisions, she's doing what it takes to win. Shane is a wise choice in the midst of a points battle for owners points, better than PPM. Carson is a wiser choice next year (if in fact that is what happens) than PPM based on money and results. That's not being mistreated, thats business and racing.

Look, Shane Stewart will be in the 41 car for Lakeside and Lake Ozark.
PPM will be in the 141 for both races as well. The 141 car is a 2nd JJR car. I'm not sure what's happened with the 14 car owned by Phil Dietz, possibly parked, but not sure.
PPM will then pilot the Indy Race Parts owned 71P and be a teammate to Stewart at Kokomo and the World Finals.
Hope this clears up all the theories out there...

Incorrect, there is a 2nd JJR car that was supposed to have PPM in the car numbered the 141. The Dietz 14 car was idle this weekend. You'll see it Friday night at Lakeside.
Also it wouldn't be a typo because JJR wouldn't make an announcement for the Dietz Motorsports car. Simple as that.

Just considering some of the maybe "legalities" if you will...
Could be some really weird rule that the car/driver acquiring team points can't also have acquired points for same car team? That probably makes no sense but it has to be a component of that.. hence the number change and maybe Owner change? (Was Dietz now PPM?)
Also, as much money as PPM and his Dad bring along to the team if they thought he was going to get that ride after dumping all their money in the #14 as a stepping stone; I may be pissed also and take my bank account elsewhere.
As usual... my .02 cents fwiw...

I guess this article from the World of Outlaws own website, released at 10:54am, also has a typo in it...dumbass.

ummmm JJR JUST announced PPM is not in their car this coming weekend via Twitter. So chew on that or hell drink on that!
Where's my beer or scotch on the rocks? God-damn it! 40
plus years of dirt track racing in these old veins might
get me condemned by the EPA.

Ya know, this just might be the dumbest thread I've read in a while. But, at least it's not politics, so we got that goin' for us, which is nice.

Yeah I'm sure the series and team owners put out an April fools prank for the the sleuth glhayden to debunk. Never mind the fact that you can show up to the race shop and see the now vacant 141.
