And he is probably happier with the pay cut-- Hell he is more or less going to make between 300 grand to half a million doing this and having fun instead of putting up with NASCAR's bullshit rules and walking on eggshells with all the Microphones in his face
So YES he is getting the last laugh with his Middle Finger way above his head
|
You're foolish if you don't think he would accept a decent to go back to the Cup series in a heartbeat. Who is happier making 10 percent of the salary they used to make?

The number that was often reported in articles when he was fired by CGR was $8 million. The number does not even have to be that high to be a 90 percent pay cut.
|
Wow if that number is close to being accurate he'd be on track to make more money in one year of Cup than his career in Dirt.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it. Kyle Larson uttering that ugly word 2 months ago is the best thing to happen to modern day auto racing sinnce bead locks or Nomex underwear.
He did it on purpose. He wanted out.

Is EMI the company Wolfgang was part of.
|
I believe Brian Schnee is Wolfgang's brother-in-law.

If you think Kyle isn't extremely regretful of what he did, or think he's giving the bird to NASCAR you are crazy. He's a husband and a dad. He may enjoy dirt racing more, he loves his family the most. And the number one thing any dad thinks about is their family, their financial security now and in future. He also has business commitments, like to his race team and his driver who are impacted. He might make a few hundred grand doing this, but NASCAR money is multi-generational money.
Kyle deserves a 2nd chance in the future, and when he gets it he will take it. Enjoy the show in the meantime. But this isn't NASCAR's fault. There was no other option for CGR or NASCAR. I promise you Kyle gets that.

Wolfie had Wolfweld... not sure if he has ever been involved with these guys. Speedway Motors owns EMI as well as some other companies... have a pretty big operation.

I thought I read somewhere that was whwere Brian Schnee got into Chassis building was from Wolfgang! I could be wrond but I thoght they were Brothers by Law.

We went to go see kyle larson at the new 81 speedway in wichita ks went down to see if we could get a tshirt and a autograph he didnt give any body the time or day totally lost any respect for the man . A matter of fact he won that night and he still was one of the first ones that left. Tony stewert stayed a long time. And dont make any comments to say they had to hurry to next venue it was less than 200 miles away. far as im concerned Kyle dont bother coming back to Kansas I wont come watch you again

You and others are correct... Brian Schnee is Wolfie's brother in law. He started building cars in the late 80's and the cars he built for Wolfie in '89 pretty much lit the match for his business taking off. There is a pretty cool 4 min video at this link that talks about Brian Schnee's history: https://www.speedwaymotors.com/the-toolbox/emi-feature-brian-schnee/30903

This is not the first story like the one you made this comment about that I have heard. Doesn't concern me I haven't been into autographs since I was about 12. Tired is no excuse for not being a decent human being. I am 65, been farming my entire life. I have always said if a farmer gets tired at planting or harvest time he should not be farming because his heart is not into it. To say someone his age is tired when doing what is supposed to be what his heart is into is a cop out. With that I realize that was your comment and not his.

Kudos to you & all the hard working farmers
What the big deal about an autograph?
You watched him race, that should be plenty

Both nights at Knoxville and the 1st two nights of midget week. Guess we should just keep counting.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Don't forget the three wins with the All Stars. 7 in a row and coming from the14th in the A to win was a lot of fun to see.
