What a rip off $59 for that followed a freight train race

Late models were much better and I'm a hardcore Sprint car fanatic

But I must say a beautiful facility but $59 come on

If it wasn't for my comp tickets we would have never gone

Typical won Nascar types take over dirt track racing

Don't you realize that promoters can't guarantee a thriller? thats the way it goes.....

Just a fan. I think its more exciting when the difference between payout for 1st and 2nd is greater. I'm sure drivers are giving it their all regardless but its just how I feel. Take Kings Royal for example... While the prestige of winning the race alone is probably enough for the drivers, 175k for 1st and 25k for 2nd makes it more intersting to me. While I don't expect the World finals to pay anything like that it would be cool if they paid 30-50k to win and truly became another "crown jewel" race.

Another reason... after the race they interviewed Gravel before Sweet. Being there in person I wanted to hear what Sweet had to say and hear his emotion. Instead we heard Gravel thank his sponsors n blah blah blah for basically winning a standard WoO race.

Fair enough.  I guess in my opinion, money has killed racing or at least racing in what was the glory days for me.  Now just to be clear, if this was on a local level, I would love to see Joe Blow win $100,000.  But to me, at least in my opinion, one of the outlaw teams winning $100,000 is not a huge deal, it's probably not going to be the difference of them running the next season or not.  As for the 50-50 argurment, I say, that's great, I'm sure the guy winning 10s of thousands of dollars on the 50-50 drawing could use it more than Donny Schatz.  Again, it's just my opinion, it certainly doesn't mean you're wrong.
