50 Cars was great and 56 Grand to win is where it should be, with the hwlp of the Beer Hill Gang Selzi made out better for being the Rookie than some who finished ahead of him and Trout made out better for being the car that just missed.

Wonder if some of the provisionals would have been better taking that.

I dont have the anser but there has to be a way to get guys that just took the week off 87Rueitzel, 2 Masden 70 Blaney and others that ran lesser paying shows closer to home. Over the 56 opens I wonder how many did not have a Blaney racing.

Yea, lots of people were wondering "Where are all the Allstar guys?"

No Rico either....

You have to remember, the all star guys are not on the outlaw tour because of money #1 and scheduling. This late in the year when equipment is worn, I think you have to take some time to get back to your shop and go through your inventory and make repairs that are needed. I really don't care what most say or think, but since Rico's Eldora crash I believe it's affected his driving style.

$4000 for 4th place in a "Crown Jewel" event is pathetic.

Everybody says "race tracks have to make money on their big events", yes that is true.

If racing's BIG events are to the point where racers can't make out decently by going to them and they quit going then we are really screwed.

Why would any racer that gives a damn about dollars and sense make a 600 or 1200 mile round trip to this deal and get 6th for a $3000 check when they could win at their home track and make $3000?

And the Perris Oval Nationals paying 2500 for 4th? Not good....
