We hear must REMEMBER that the ALMIGHTY BLAZER00 knows it all and only his OPINIONS and THEORIES matter !!!!!!!

Oops, your knees just buckled. When in doubt, shame the other person...... Just because you and some others choose to thump your chests on what could be or might be, don't get on me for laying out facts. You tell me why you believe Dewease should be ranked fourth AND BACK IT UP! Don't stoop to chicken shit cop out name calling and ridicule! Offer up a pole on Hoseheads and ask everybody to name a top ten or top twenty nationwide......if you like, with no opinions or theories......just a ranking list. Then we'll see. And maybe have the pollsters identify the state where they reside. Hell, I was honest with my opinion of Madsen....wtf!

He did beat a bunch of nobody's on an ice skating rink.  Same thing will happen this year unless it rains before the race and the track will be too fast for him.

Is that you Strawser???? wink

"K. Madsen, Brian Brown, Joey Saldana, Tim Shaffer, Brady Bacon, Chad Kemenah, Dave and Dale Blaney, Aaron Reutzel, Tony Stewart, and Sammy Swindell. Plus the remainder of the Allstars and those mediocre Posse (Hodnett, Zearfoss, Dietrich, R. Smith, M. Smith, Wolf, Freddie Rahmer, Starks, etc). All listed in parents have outlaw wins on their resume except Starks"

"Bunch of nobodies"?????.... Were you TRYING to be funny?

You tell me who's butt hurt and who isn't.....lol.....all I did was disagree with the position of two drivers in the latest ranking.......Dewease at four and Madsen at six........and certain butt hurt Posse fans get on my case. No arguement as to why they're defending their driver, just doing so rather blindly. How many times have we outside of PA heard some of you brag about how the All Stars can't come in to PA and win shit? But now those same guys spew how tough of competition they are. Make up your minds.

One question: your 2017 & 2018 wins don't add up to your total wins.... what's that all about?????

As laudarevsonhunt said, the main rankings are based on the last 2 "rolling" years.  So the win totals reflect that time period.  For example, since the rankings was taken on 08/13/2018, the rankings are calculated only from races from 08/14/2016 to 08/13/2018.

First off, this is awesome, and thank you again for doing this.

As a suggestion, I’d make the 2018 only page the default page. The summary of multiple years I suppose is interesting but not meaningful to the casual observer.

I’d also try to add point fund money to the yearly totals to give a more accurate picture of real earnings but that’s a minor point.

I assume the local track data doesn’t include the traveling series shows?

Thank you for the comments, and suggestions.  I've spend a lot of time on these numbers and the formula, and continue to look through them, and always wlecome to suggestions.

The decision of why the 'main' rankings go off the last 2 rolling years, is because I modeled the rankings off of how the world golf rankings are.  I felt that sport would be similair, with how many compeitiors there are, and how they need to rank them together.  Also, just felt having 2 full years of results are a good reflection of how a driver should be ranked.  Maybe it could be just 1 rolling year, but that's the decision I made.  I've always had suggestions to see the current years rankings, so thats why I still calculate them on the site.

I don't add point fund money, because I only wanted to rank on race data.  Finishing in a position in points (and the money for the points) for a series or track are not always a good reflection od driver results.  For example, someone finishing 5th in points at WIlliams Grove, doesnt mean they were the 5th best driver.  Just means they were the 5th best of the team that made ever race.  So I decided to not include points money.  I am more interested in on track performance, than real earnings for each driver.

Plus, not many of the tracks and series, as far as I have seen, provide what their point funds are,  So unless I would have all the data, I would not put in just some.

Correct, the local track data only includes the regular weekly shows, and not any series sanctioned shows, to reflect each Tracks weekly program.

Kings Royal, Jackson Nationals, Mansfield, Iron Man, Knoxville Nationals, Brad Doty Classic.............some bigger and some smaller.....and of course 60-70 WoO events.

Obviously we’re not on the same page here. I was expecting a list of comparable Tuscarora 50 races that would exclude WoO sanctioned or shows where most of the WoO show up. That would be more apples to apples. Anyway, you forgot to include the Summer Nationals WoO show.

I knew what you were expecting...... Well guess what......that's my arguement (formerly an opinion) exactly about Dewease being ranked number four. The Tuscarora 50 does not include the best drivers in the land and shouldn't carry as much weight just because of the winners share of the purse. Thank You for that admission. Madsen has run with the WoO more than Dewease, and I still don't believe Madsen belongs at six, either. And yes, I did overlook the Summer Nationals but not intentionally, believe me. Dewease is the guy to beat at Williams Grove regrdless who's there. But again, racing at home a couple times against the Outlaws, is that really enough to carry the number four spot? We simply differ on that.   I'd guess it's fair to say he struggled through PA Speedweeks.

Also, I do have an afterthought......is there anything to go by that reflects how well Dewease runs on the short tracks? The 1/4 and 1/3 mile variety? Just asking.because I don't know.

Only tracks other than half miles in central Pa are BAPS @ 4/10 and Lincoln @ 3/8. He runs very well @ BAPS. Although not a regular at Lincoln for past several years, he is #8 on the all time win list.

Has wins at East Bay Florida and Attica, both 1/3 mile tracks.
