Great job Freddie.  I just wish the old man would keep his mouth shut and stay out of VL.  Let Freddie enjoy his win without getting in the way while cussing, swearing, and drinking beer in victory lane.  The yound man has so much more class than his father ever did.   

On that last restart when they drove it into one, I had a flashback to the Monday Speedweek race. Gravel took the line Dietrich ran on the bottom, and Freddie took the line that Larson ran just to the outside of his right rear. Only .... this time the roles reversed and there was enough grip for Rahmer to complete the pass and drive to the victory.

Great race. I'd have like to see what happened if Dietrich hadn't tried to shoot the gap in three.  Would Gravel had held on? Could Danny have run him down? Doesn't matter. In the end, we have a new Outlaw winner.

Lmao...well said.  Fred's a class act and old school.  Not to mention one of the best to ever do it. He was obviously very proud and at worst a little over zealous.  Big deal he curses and drinks beer.  That's what going to the track's all about.  If you don't like it I'd suggest a new hobby...perhaps knitting will suit your sensibilities more. 

Posse people make me laugh.. So a PA driver wins at a Pa track and ohhh they kicked the WOO ass ,,actually they should when they race at home when they have raced there several times,,,  question is can you win anywhere else?? there lays the big ???? Like Fred no doubt he was a GREAT driver with a ton of wins and I am not taking anything away from him but looking at his stats seems almost all were in PA  ,, sorry big difference win you win at places you don t run at very often,,,remember even a blind squirel pics up a acorn sometime ,,,

LMAO Little Freddie only had one win all year at Lincoln before last night.

Old man Rahmer had wins on over 30 tracks in 10-11 different states. His first Outlaw win and his first ASCoC win were both at tracks he never raced regularly.

This board is always amusing. Cubic Dollars didn't even come into the thread to see who he can real into the boat with some bait. The line on here was always that the locals can only wn at Williams Grove because the track is unique (a dirt surface with four turns and all). When that line doesn't work, the goalposts move.

While I agree with the intent of your post, it shouldn't take anything away from the fact that the Grove is the biggest crutch in the Outlaw/Posse rivalry.

What are you, the Victory Lane morality police?  I thought Sr's line something to the effect of "congratulations, you won a World of Outlaws race, don't forget you have to go to work in the morning" was an instant classic that underscores what weekend racers are all about.

If you don't like beer and abandoning political correctness when experiencing the thrill of watching a son beat the best we can't be friends. 

I usually stay out of these things but this one always makes wonder; How many times do best in the business have to race at a track to figure it out. They have had six or so races a year at the Grove for almost their entire existance. There have been times when one of the younger Posse guys have won when many Outlaws in the field have had more laps at the Grove than they have.

Let’s all calm down, the outlaws finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Freddie got a great restart and won fair and square. Let’s not pretend this was some unprecedented ass kicking.

A better discussion, what the heck is going on with only 31 cars at the Grove?

Not a real surprise as car counts have been low at the Grove all year. Ryan Smith was planning on racing but had some issue and couldn’t make it. Stutts is hurt and out for the season. Westhafer appears to have shut down the 410 operation and has been driving a 358 for another owner. Chad Trout and Rick Laffetry no shows. Chad said last week they were going to miss Grove shows because of engine issues. Ryan Taylor won earlier in the year and hasn’t been back. Mark Smith running 360’s. No Zemco car. Matt Cambell’s dad passed away last year and has just started running occasionally at Lincoln. No McIntyre tonite either. Usually get Tim Shaffer in for the outlaw shows but he stayed west to race  with the Allstars. Also Kerry Madsen and the Roth 83 were both at Lernerville Tuesday but decided not to come east. Not unusual for the 83 but Kerry usually shows up for the outlaw shows. Sorry for rambling.

Bottom line, I think it’s lack of $$$$ for some of the local teams. Oh and just remembered no Branden Rahmer either.

Careful.......I think through the course of the WoO history at Williams grove, the Outlaws have a pretty huge all time lead on the Posse when it comes to wins. Pretty sure it's close to 2 to 1. The Posse fared pretty well in the first few years and the Posse has fared pretty well in recent years. But there was a pretty fair stretch where the Outlaws dominated. Overall it isn't really close at all. I think the stats are somewhere. Maybe even on the WG website.

I was thinking the same thing myself. Three heat format at an Outlaw race at Williams Grove?

Concerning? Troubling? A statistical anomaly?

I'm not quite sure what to think.
