Per the PA Speedweek Ad, gates open at 3:00, TT at 7:30 at Path Valley.

I know in past Speedweeks Freddy throws a pre race shindig, live band, free burgers... is that happening this year?

If it doesn't rain on Saturday night I will be heading 1.5 hours south to Lincoln from McAlisterville.  I wish there was good 410 racing closer to home....but there isn't since Port doesn't put enough water on the track at the start of the night.

They should kick you out for life! Ya know that is possible since it is private property. :-)

Haven't seen much posted from the Rahmer camp yet, but I'm sure it won't be much longer.  As of now, I haven't seen anything scheduled for Hammonds Grove (burgers, band, etc.).

You will be sorely missed. Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Sorry, I couldn't do that without laughing. Enjoy Strawser, Port doesn't need you, nor do the faithful Port fans. You know so much about Port, considering you don't even go, lol. Man, are you a blowhard. But most of us Juniata County natives already knew that.

I used to go every Saturday to the Port....not anymore.  I have given them way too many chances over the last few years and I am alway disappointed in how the track is early in the night.  I have eyes and watch the vidoes and can see how the track is used up before the cars are even pushed out for the feature.  Nothing has changed so I will take my money elsewhere.  That is the good thing about central PA.  There are a lot of tracks within a two hour radious.  I don't like slip and slides like Port.

I also have a friend that goes there once in a while and everytime he goes he tells me the track is used up way before the heats are over.  He used to help out on a car that raced at the Port and he likes the place but says it is a no grip track everytime he goes.

The drivers can't get any grip on the track.  I might be a blowhard but I am right about the Port.  They have a nice facility and I don't go to the races for the facility.   I go for the racing on the track.

Not a problem,  until they get their act together.  I will not be back.  I sure hope they know what the water truck looks like. They sure don't use it properly.   I don't hate Port.  I only hate how the prepare the track.  I will continue to be very vocal about it.

I have told Swartz that the track is way too dry.  It is nothing he hasn't heard from me.  Stimely and Swartz think you can only have a a good race when it is a slip and slide.  Wow, they are way off base.

A few weeks ago we were offered free tickets to go over to Port to watch the races with a sponsor of the Port.  I never contacted him because, I have no interest in going to that place with the condition of the track, hard, black, and dry early in the evening!

We all know that by now. You're free to go wherever you want

Why don't you stop going on & on about it?

Per a Rahmer Promotion tweet, gates will now open at 2:00 and will be a 50-lapper paying $10,000 to win!

No micro sprints...

Something tells me Hagerstown does but I don't think any of the other tracks do. You may want to check on that and confirm because I always just pay with cash.

And the best 3 tracks on the schedule just got that much better. Nothing against the Posse guys but I much prefer watching guys like Rico, Bell, Larson etc. who really know how to get around a bullring. It was obvious at Path Valley last year that Larson and Rico were on a whole different level. They grew up racing tracks like that whereas the Pa guys mostly run bigger tracks and it really showed.

Totally agree!  Many of the outsiders can run a 1/4 bullring better than most Posse guys.  Familiarity being one of the reasons.

I thought Hodnett ran the race of his life when he beat Clauson at Path Valley two years ago.  Much respect for how Greg drove that race that night!

Stevie showed his skills on this 1/4 mile in 2015 - racing with the Outlaws didn't hurt him any!!

Guess what, good news! Larson will be at Lincoln & Grandview Monday & Tuesday

I'm gonna change my plans & stick around for Monday race... too bad its not at Grandview tho, would like to do 4 different tracks (oh well, boohoo for me right? wink )

I wonder if NWfan will have to "rechange" his plans? By the way, does that stand for "nonwing" or "northwest"?

That's awesome. He is the show anytime he straps into a sprint car. It's gonna be a good week.

I went to 3 Speedweek shows last summer & Larson won them all. Just checked Lance's schedule, he'll be at WG, Lincoln & Port. He's won 7 out of 12 so far this year, pretty amazing.... so we get Bell, Larson & The Dream Team competing several nites, should be good. Just hope everybody is safe, a bit nervous after recent tragedy
