Today, yes. Maybe you better look at the mules. Teams prep a min of 4, what do you think happens to a tire after you take a sander to it ? We raced in the late 80's to 90's things with tires were a lot different back then. What I think is crazy is they stopped what they called to many guys were tossing a tire after a couple laps were on it. Do you have any idea what guys are spending on shock technology today ? I'm not trying to get into a pi**ing match with anybody. Mostly because I could care less. I'm telling you our experience's were when we raced.

i didn't have to look hard to see everything is angled. I'm just saying I don't care for it. And I'll admit I'm a looooong way from anything remotely close to artistic, but is there a rule that says the wording on the car can't touch the angular lines?

I like the look but don't have strong feelings either way about the angular thing. Is it just me or does it seem like all the graphics and the color change line are perfectly parallel to the down tubes? I'm not sure if that's what they're trying to accomplish with the design, but it appears that way.

Can't anyone come up with anything besides that lame sloped down to the front, angular look? I'm happy to see such an iconic name on a front running car but I thought it deserved better than that... but then again I don't know how much $$ is involved either.

Maybe Weikert Livestock just gave them a bunch of steaks and roasts. I don't think there are any vegetarians on either the 48 team or the 5 team.

Port Royal Speedway tweeted out the Weikert would return to sponsor the sprint car division, still sponsor Danny Dietrich and add sponsorship to David Gravel.
