Where was the Zemco #1 with Dale Blaney?  The Zemco car never misses a big race at the Port.

I don't believe they would have been a factor anyhow.  Have always loved the Zemco car but Blaney just isn't getting it done.  Would love to see Logan Wagner in it next year.

Wow is all I have to say.  Can't handle someone with a truthful opinion of Port, so you have to swear at them.  Real classy.   Never shouting, only use them to get my point across.  To make you feel better I didn't use any exclamation points.  LOL.

Wow, thanks Dad. Way to put me in my place.  You're so cool and tough. Learn how to take a joke. Im happy you sit nowhere near me in the stands.

I don't care if you give your opinion of Port or not. Just be objective. Stop denigrating the place if it doesn't meet your standards, which are obviously very specific.

Tonight wasnt the best feature, but it was still entertaining.

I'm sure you were still pissed about something though, right?

I can take a joke just not one that is stated like the one you wrote.  People can use the english language without using those types of words......or maybe some can't

I was not and will not be at the Port.  I have been there a couple times this year and will not be back until they get it figured out.  I have talked to people that feel the same way I do.

Last night, Lance came from 9th to finish 2nd. Pittman came from 10th to finish 3rd. Gravel came from 22nd to finish 10th. Stewart came from 25th to finish 11th.  But to hear the preparers at Port talk about it.......totally different story.

Read that it was just a missing screw in timing cover.

... correct,  per Linda 2 screws were missing from the timing cover was the problem

We are always hearing comments from the drivers that we need to slow the track down and here is Mister Couch Potato that don't even come (Thank God) telling us the track is to dry and slick. My advice to you Brian is if you don't like slick tracks then don't come. P.S. you won't be missed.

I will not until they/you consistetly get the times down around 15.7 in warmups.  Other tracks are faster than Port and no one is asking them to slow them down.  The best racing happens when the track is in the high 15 second brackets for warmups and then it slows down by feature.  Your track should be at its best for the feature....not the heats.

I been to Port twice this year and didn't like what I saw so I left and said until they get it figured out I will not be back.  And the only time they/you have it figured out is when it rains on raceday or rains up to raceday and it is cloudy the day of the race.  Sad but true statement.

Lincoln is the best 410 track in central PA and it isnt even close.  Fred knows how to prepare a track......

I have enjoyed my 1.5 hour trip to and from Lincoln the times I went.  To bad there isn't a good 410 track closer to where I live in Juniata County.

I have been to Lincoln some this year and that place puts on a great show every single night and they are happy to take my money....unlike you at Port.   From the beginning to the end great racing at Lincoln.

For every whiner like you that says you're not coming back, there are 30 new faces every Saturday night that enjoy themselves. Seems like a fair trade off to me.

I am not whining....only stating facts.  Some people can't handle facts. Sir, that would be you.

Guess how many times I am coming to the Port in 2018?...that includes my son.   I will give you a hint....it is a nice round number.   That means 0 dollars in the Port bank account.  If you can't get the track right, I don't care how good the facility looks.  I wouldn't care if it was in a junkyard as long as the racing was great.

Out of those 30 new faces how many truly enjoy themselves all night long.......just saying.

It seems to me you don't care about the fans and I talked to many that will not come to the port for the same reasons as me.

15.7 in warm-ups....should be that fast every Saturday night for warmups!

Well, that shows what you really know.  No, it shouldn't be that fast every week because that means flat foot it around follow the leader.  The good racing starts when the track slows to about 19 seconds.  Not rubber down, mind you, but way slower than 15.7.

I'm pretty sure during the Tuscarora 50 weekend, Blaney told the Zemco group that he'd finish out the year, but they should look for another driver.  I also wouldn't bank on the problem being Dale Blaney.  At least the whole problem anyway.  That car hasn't been fast in years, at least after time trials.

Another one of those deals where those that are fond of the car, all of a sudden believe that Dale has suddenly forgotten how to drive a sprint car. Not hardly the case. Dale is one of a half dozen or so drivers that can still wheel a sprint car, but the top shelf rides just aren't available. Thanks, WoO/WRG, for not curbing costs!!!!

Seems like no matter who's been in the seat, in recent years, that car seems to drop off as the night goes on most of the time. There were a few nights when Lucas Wolfe was driving that he passed some cars but more times than not, the 1Z is headed backwards during the feature. Not sure what the problem is but it sure as hell isn't the drivers they've had. Dale Blaney didn't forget how to drive. He's one of the best there is. Hopefully he can find success with whatever his next endeavor is. He's first class all the way.

I've made the switch to Lincoln on Saturday nights because I think the racing there is far better than Port. I'm not a fan of how they prep the track or of the annoying announcers but that said, what they're doing there is obviously working for them and I don't expect them to change it on my behalf. I will say this, the track over the last few races this season was a lot better than it has been for awhile. It sucked for the first part of the night Saturday but after they watered it before the feature, it was pretty much perfect. I still love the place and I always will and I hope their success continues even if I'm not exactly a fan of some of the things that they do. Either way, just go somewhere else. Thankfully in Central PA, we're lucky enough to have lots of options.

Due to your use of the word "we", I'd assume you're in some way involved with the speedway? If so, coming on a forum and calling people names isn't exactly the best way to represent the track. People are entitled to their opinion and you're not going to please everyone. I actually agree with a lot of what he says about Port hence the reason I'm attending Lincoln on most Saturday nights after 30 years of being at Port every week and you don't need to tell me that I "won't be missed" because I already know that. I think he could probably state his opinion with a little less vitriol but it doesn't say much about you or Port Royal Speedway when you resort to methods such as these.

You mean the sleeping and yawning starts when it is hard black and dry.  Drivers will not take chances when the track is that slow.  In other words sprint cars are to be on the verge of out of control but still in control every lap.  The way the track is at Port most nights they aren't even close to being on the verge of anything.

The track will slow down as the night goes on and you will have great racing, again I am talking warm-ups with that speed.

Williams Grove served up some of the crappiest racing of the year for the Grove National Open (19 second laps) and you guys are blaming the Port track prep for Lance backing off on  the restart rather than driving Schatz for the win?

Should Selinsgrove move to Friday night after they cut it down to Susky size or should they pave it and run ARCA feeders series?

Only 1 posse track owner paved over a track that was operating in the black with healthier car counts every Saturday night than any other in the area... And now he owns Selinsgrove.

Wait till the area needs another mall.

I'm quite sure Selinsgrove will miss you about as much as Port misses the strawser kid.
