Dusty also told me himself that it's been nice to have some weekends off and take a break! He said it was his choice to run in Sioux center last night said he likes the track and that he was taking the rest of the weekend off
|
Eric Lutz was in it at Park Jeff, last night.
Thanx,
Bruce

Yes Dusty told me himself he was taking the rest of the weekend off! Mentioned something about maybe Tuesday at rapid! It's Dusty's ride when he wants to run it

Didn't miss much. Watched it on Facebook live....run two laps and a caution, run two more laps and a caution over and over and over again. Musta been a full moon or something for a 25 lap feature to run nearly an hour.

probably counldn't find anybody who wanted to drive it. no joke.
This deal is getting pathetic. So far this year there has been atleast 7 different drivers. If they would have stuck with KTJ they would be seeing some decent results by now. Instead they have nothing but a penalty box. What happened to Dollansky? 2 races and told them to stick it? Zomer in for the Nationals?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have a complete list of the BWW drivers? Super Chuck thought he remembered seeing that in a post but he couldn't find it. Super Chuck could only remember about 15...
Bryan Dobesch, Kevin Swindell, Sammy Swindell, Dusty Zomer, Eric Lutz, Cap Henry, Craig Dollansky, Bryan Clauson, Clint Garner, Justin Henderson, Lucas Wolfe, Thomas Kennedy, Kevin Thomas, Jr., Roger Crockett
Who's he missing?
Super Chuck

Do you have ALL the details from both sides on why the KTJ didn't work out?

Yes there were quite a few cautions. But to say "didn't miss much" is a little off when TK comes from tail to first and henderson comes from tail to 3rd. I'd say if you weren't there you actually missed about 40 cars being passed by 2 cars. Just my two cents

Brandon Halverson drove it one night at Jackson after Crockett was let go. Jody Rosenboom drove it at Husets one night as well.

Yes I wasn't there, watched it though the quality wasn't best. I'm sure, myself included, that there weren't many who didn't think TK was coming back to win especially with all the cautions to bring the pack back to him...he was on a rail. I couldn't make out which car was Henderson's on the feed, so I'll certainly give you that point. But going by comments live watching, including from some wives and racers it was very tiresome as there was no rhythm to the race...but hey, it happens, not every race is a barn burner. I do also have it from a crew chief whom was there with his car, who wasn't allowed to work on his car under red flag conditions by an official then looked over to Tks car and , albeit with "passion " not so kindly asked the official then why does he get special treatment as there were a multitude working on his. Hmmm. But I get it...i wasn't there. I don't live in Sprint car country anymore and only have the the chance once or twice maybe a year to travel to see them at minimum of a 5 hour round trip unless they come back to Aberdeen, SD. Does that mean I can't enjoy my favorite sport of racing from afar, give up my passion for them, have an opinion and so forth....

nope no details, but I have a pretty good idea how it goes with most BWW drivers.
crew chief sets up car his way and tells driver to drive it, driver goes backwards and says your set up sucks, crew chief says your fired.

He's not driver, and he didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but Murphy always admires those that communicate so comfortably in the 3rd person. Bob Dole would agree.
