I have to agree that Stewart would be better off just showing up at random races. The All Stars should be able to draw a crowd sans Tony. Less hassle in the pits for him plus a bonus for fans not expecting him. The real fans are going to show up no matter what. Saw Stewart in the pits many a time in central Pa. Just another hot shoe as far as I'm concered. Never was into autographs or pics. Memories are all I need.

The sanctioning bodies know us real fans are gonna show up, it's the on the fence people they are trying to get to the track, and that's where Tony comes in! Hell I'm driving 5 hours on March 4th to see the WoO at Gator Motorplex!

What is it you want from me?
1. OP said he heard something happened in the pits with Stewart.
2. I googled it and found an article. No, USA Today is not SSN or AARN, but they have had stories on Stewart in past years that I never thought were "fake news" (Kevin Ward, Chili Bowl a few years ago, numerous crap in NASCAR). I'll put a lot more stock in what I read from them than some/most of the BS I see on here.
3. Kemenahs car owner gives an explanation that if your read it closely said "I'm glad Chad and Tony weren't kissing after the race becasue I like my driver tough. This is a dirt sport, not a ball dance". Sounds to me like something happened.
4. I not a Stewart hater - but unlike some of you guys, I don't believe he walks on water and that every thing that happens involving him is always someone else's fault. One could make a list a mile long of all of his episodes where he has shown his ass. That's great that he gives back and helps teams like Hunter racing, bought and saved the All Stars. IMO it is a conflict of interest that he personally runs a car in a series he owns.
Good enough for you and your buddy Stroker? If it isn't, tough shit.

Could not agree with you more. This is the day I stopped being a Tony Stewart fan! And Yes, I was in attendance at the King' Royal race.
In regards to his so called incident this past weekend. Isn't it ironic that the first weekend back in a sprint car and an anger manangement issue arises? No, I do not believe everything that I read in the media whether it be this issue or others, but I also do not believe that the media creates EVERYTHING either. In most cases, you have to give them an opportunity to sweeten the pot!! Could there have been an incident? Maybe. Cound this have been created? Maybe again. I would be willing to bet that it lies somewhere in the middle and thus I go back to you usually have to give the media an opportunity. How many people think that an opportunity was presented to the media covering the story? And, yes, your response is going to reflect which side of the Tony Stewart fan club you reside!
And no, I did not attend this race.
As far as his involvement with the All-Stars, I believe it is a conflict of interest when you race with the series you own. You don't have to agree with me.....just my opinion.

Reporters will be reporters they don't have a 'good story' unless it's a false rumor. Smoke is a passionate racer and even more passionate about the sport... If he's such a bad guy maybe he shouldn't had bought Robert Bell a brand new full set of MAC tools to replace the ones Robert had stolen at the Chili Bowl. You haters need to quit being trolls and look at life more positive.

Never questioned his passion, but his anger and lack of class seems to rise to the top. Watch the clip. Shows both a sense of passion and lack of class. This story was not created by the media. He created it! Some will say they shoved a mic in his face at the wrong time. How many drivers have used restraint even when the opposing driver was not a teammate! This was his teammate and car owner!!! Wow!!

You said you are glad Stewart and Kemenah weren't kissing after the race and you like your driver tough WTF does that mean ?Sounds like you and the reporter have a different definition of what happened and you didn't think it was as serious as they did.

Maybe he should have given Robert the common sense to have his tools inside of the building in the pits instead of in his pickup outside left alone. Don't get me wrong....I'm one of the guys that gets a kick out of Robert and his enjoyment of everything. Hell I've even donated stuff to Robert in the past when he raced in our area. Sometimes being naive brings problems to yourself though.

I'll start off by thanking Mr. Hunter for posting on this thread and giving us his take on the situation and I'd also like to thank him for his contributions to our sport. Can't wait to see that bad ass looking #10H roll into Central PA this year. I think what he means is, he wants a driver that has the type of competitive fire that motivates him to beat anyone and everyone. On the track, there are no friends and if it came down to it, he'd throw a slider on Jesus himself to win even if the race didn't pay a cent to win. He wants a guy who has balls on and off the track. That's what I took from it and if I were a car owner, that's what I'd want as well. I don't want some PC clean cut choir boy. Give me Jack Hewitt or Steve Kinser any day.
