After all the whining watching the video the racing appeared decent.
Of course it all depends if you like the winner or not.

I've raced Bubba four times in a winged 360 and enjoyed it a lot. Turn 3 and 4 are pretty challenging. Never rubbered down...
I've also seen a lot of winged 410 and nonwing USAC racing there and enjoyed all the shows. I'd be down there right now watching if I didn't have to work.

I'm a ford guy myself but when it comes to racing I'm a dirt track sprint car guy and to me sprint cars are more about the people than the car therefor I don't care what's under the hood.
I fully believe that whenever they debut the ford it will be competitive, likely even dominant and not because it's a ford but because you will have the very best team running it with major corporate $$$ backing it that want to see it win and one of the best engine builders in the country developing it from a clean sheet of paper. I'd hate to see the bill because it'll make $50K motors seem like bargain.

Shaver says $65 thousand and overhaul at 10 races.

Lots of money.... very similar amount that countless millionaires have spent on chevs just before loosing to the 15 for the last 15 years.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
