Isn't August 12 Nationals weekend? How many quality 410s will they get for this?
|
I would think they'll get a few travelers from PA since there is no Williams Grove or Port Royal that weekend (the guys that don't go to Knoxville but still want to race maybe).

Don't make a difference to me how many "Quality" drivers they get it gives the locals a chance at good money without it being sanctioned.
That is if from 2nd on back pays pretty good.

As of this morning there is an asphalt milling machine on the track grinding off all the asphalt. It will not be dirt laid over asphalt.

Wirtgen! Nice, remember when they were a big sprint car sponsor.
Also, while it's a ton more work and at a higher cost sounds like they really took a step back and decided the best course of action for the best surface possible was to remove the asphalt. Certainly putting some effort and $$$ into the track. Kudos!

Hey this is great news , taking off the asphalt is the best way to go . Good luck to this track , bring good shows and you will succeed ,especially a variety of shows .

Chuck mentioned Portsmouth not rubberying up well that's because of the high tide of the Mighty Ohio River.
I definatley plan on hitting a couple of shows, have never been to Mansfield.
