as much as I agree that he lost money in year one with the racetrack, I will never believe that he put it for sale because he lost money On the racetrack in year one. I agree the pawnshop was never busy. I also agree that the parking lot was full when concerts were in session. But how do you know that he didn't make enough money on those concerts to justify an empty parking lot during the week?

You could be correct in that IM21 is why he is doing it. I meant IM21 isn't the reason his business models were bleeding.
He stated that less than 10% of his income came from the state of SD. So according to how much he brings in monthly from his DLC Empire & CCC, he should still be making over 19mil a month? (Numbers that were floating out there)
I just do not believe his BL's business model was the big cash cow he made it out to be.The game show never happened. The so-called reality show was an average at best produced infomercial and the pawn shop did not generate a constant "field of dreams" stream of traffic he promoted it out to be when it was all coming to fruititon. I understand, his money, his ideas, he can do what he wants. To me however, the best thing he did was the radio station, everything else was over the top and the money he was spending was extreme; more out of his maybe not caring to ever make it back?(Just burning it cause he can)
Bottom line is IM21imo is just a convenient wayout for him to say he can no longer do it. If his gross inflow is anywhere close to where he throws it out there, than the Husets improvements alone were all paid for in a month and his pocketbook while taking a hit most of us could only dream of, is still making much $$$, just not in SD.

I would like to take time to squelch a rumor that is going around about a potential buyer for Huset's Speedway. NOTEBOOM IMPLEMENT IS NOT BUYING HUSET'S SPEEDWAY.
I have a good friend that works for Noteboom's in Corsica and I was texting back and forth a couple weeks ago with someone I thought was him. I have 2 people in my contact list that have the same nickname and I thought is was my friend at Noteboom. He asked me who was buying Huset's and I told him, jokingly, Da...n Noteboom, his boss.
Come to find out, it was the other person in my contacts that I was talking to that IS in racing. By the time I figured out who I was ACTUALLY texting with, it was too late and the rumor mill hit full speed.
I do the radio and television commercials for the Noteboom family and their 8 John Deere dealerships in South Dakota and Iowa and have known the family for close to 25 years. THEY ARE NOT BUYING HUSET'S!!!! Although they enjoy their name being spread around like wildfire and the fact their website hits have hit an all time high, they are not buying Huset's.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Next???!!!
