Really? Where did they finish in the points. They won in 96 Karl did what he wanted when Steve ran Nascar. Answer me this how many teams declined the Platinum incentives since it was started? Surely if it was such a big deal some would have declined signing up so they could be so free.
|
I am talking about the early 90's. Karl was still with Steve until 95. They really didn't have any choices until now. Unless they wanted to race a race outside the Woo sanctioned event. Hundreds and hundreds of drivers all over the USA declined the offer to go full-time with the outlaws.
When did they run Ohio speedweeks together? I am talking the entire week. They would have been up front with Karl turning the wrenches.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Step back into reality. "Hundreds and hundreds of drivers" did not "decline the offer to go full time with the outlaws". You can't expect anybody to take you seriously when blatantly make stuff up.

Wow you really are delusional they ran speedweek races in I believe 94 or 95. Karl liked Ohio speedweek how else do you explain Steve having 9 wins. Hundreds of drivers declined running Woo? Before last year you would have never said anything as stupid as that, your just simping for HL now.

Along that same line of thought, I see H-L as being the exact same thing as WoO. FORD97 is correct, that it may take a season or two for H-L to get all the WoO pieces of the puzzle in place. The same stuff you love/hate about WoO, you will love/hate about H-L.

You can't name a specific race that drivers were complaining about not being able to attend because there was none.

The Tuscarora 50 has been one for quite a few years . Last year it was postponed and changed to a WoO race. So they were able to run it last year.

This dude is just to funny. I pictue him like a little Minnion running around his basement all excited until he falls over twitching.
I've been going to Husets since '83 along with Jackson when they ran 410s weekley since '79. Their is always been whining about the WoO not being fair. Whaa Whaa. Would the sport be better without them? no
Maybe you just need a new sport like Amish rake fighting or something that doesn't get you to excited. Call down Skippy

Agreed, this is obviously a move to put Larson, his puppy Brad and more importantly Flo in control of sprint car racing. That they might have good intentions (and given their careless treatment of Ohio initially before the bad PR forced their hand, who knows?) is beside the point. It's still a business and given Flo owns a piece, that statement is more true than ever.

This has been alluded to but not really put right out clearly but when we chat about the HL mirroring the WoO it should be reflected that WoO is much bigger than just Sprint cars. HL is sprints only, Flo has late models so together they have two classes of what??? 5 or 7 is it classes of WRG. HL is only competing with one, admittedly probably the largest finger of the WRG hand. Even if and I repeat if HL takes a portion of the WoO sprints market their is much WRG depth that can easily absorb the shock. I'm sure if the Woo sprint market share gets too lean the wrg will make it much much more lucrative to be on their poster boards. I really doubt Wrg is out of ideas in how to remain where they have been for years.

If they raced locally....they decided not to race full-time with the Woo. So yes, hundreds of drivers turned them down.

Funny, Karl wasn't with Mark in 94. I bet they didn't race every race during that week in 95.

My son has an old, toothless, nearly blind chihuahua named Blanche. Blance doesn't talk as much as you, but on the other hand, she doesn't sound like a total dumbass when she does. According to your theory, Blanche turned down the WoO as well.

Look who is calling the kettle black. If she raced 410s...then yes she turned them down. If she didn't then no.

How dare you! You just insulted every Chihuahua by comparing them to this nitwit. C'mon Murph Chihuahua's deserve better.
