From watching A.J. Foyt win his his 1st midget race at age two at Olympic Stadium to being the Executive Director of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville Iowa Bob baker has run the full gamete in racing.

After getting degree's in business administration and marketing Bob started his racing exploits with promoting races at the American Royal Building in Kansas City and the Kansas Expo Center in Topeka KS. featuring midgets.

As the World of Outlaws started expanding operations Bob joined on as marketing directer bringing in several national sponserships.

Bob moved back home and started promoting races at the State Fair race track in Sedalia MO., racing took place on the 1/2 mile as well as the mile track.

Shortly their after Bob took over the promoting jobs at I-70 Speedway and Lakeside Speedway, series like USAC Sprints. ASA late Models, and the NASCAR Truck Series made appearances at the tracks.

Bob worked at Weld Wheels as marketing directer where he had contact with every major racing series in the racing.

In 2008 Bob became the Executive Directer of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville Iowa., he is in charge of day to day operations and fundraising for the museum.

A local guy that has done just about everything you can do in racing plus a nice guy to meet and know, a true C.A.R.B. Hall of Fame Inductee Bob Baker. Enjoy.
