Well Scoreboard, I hate to be the guy who drops an apple in your cookie bag, but here is a negative for ya. Before you make any big travel plans to Tucson you may want to check with USA Raceway. I understand there's an "EVICTION" notice on the gates. Perhaps the in-laws who run the whole show have bit off more than they can chew . . .

If for some reason the western worlds do not happen at USA raceway. They can transfer the show to the PAS. That way nobody would have to travel. We could have the OVALS, the Western Worlds, and Turkey night The camp grounds at the PAS could be a big party for half of a month. At minimal cost to the teams. Oh Darn I live 25 minutes test from the PAS.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

I whole heartedly agree with your closure dirtface. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the folks who run the entire USAC show on the west coast. My reply to this post was for folks like scoreboard who is obviously from the "Heartland" or back east and is a huge fan of non-wing sprint car racing. It would leave an extremely sour taste in my mouth if I were him and booking travel plans including time off work, airfares, hotel reservations, rental car etc. only to find out that some people in the know could have alerted me about matters at hand weeks ago. Pardon me but, I thought this was exactly what this web site was all about. You are absolutely correct in your closing, we do need more dirt track racing at our home track but bringing guests here at their own additional expense because our "Principals" can't get it together is a sure recipe for failure and reason to never return. Keep your chin up Scoreboard. Maybe someone with a little Horsepower will tell us all what is going on. I imagine many of the race teams would love to know as well!

You can count on the Oval Nationals Nov 12 through 14 with practice on Wednesday the 11th.
Presented by All Coast Construction, we are working hard right now to make this an epic event.
We're going to pump up the volume for the next few weeks so stay tuned!
You know what they say, go BIG or go home!
