NO CLS/BCRA RACE AT MERCED THIS WEEKEND!
(Torrance, CA, July 29, 2015) The originally scheduled round #2 of the Civil War Series matching the California Lightning Sprint Cars against the Bay Cities Racing Association for this weekend has been canceled. Initially the race was slated for Saturday, August 1st, but was subsequently changed to Sunday the 2nd, before finally being canceled. The second and final round of the Civil War Series will now take place on September 26th at the Bakersfield Speedway.
Next up for the CLS will be the “California Racer’s Hall of Fame Night,” along with the USAC/CRA, PAS Young Gun and Senior Sprint Cars, at Perris Auto Speedway on August 15th.
