I can't remember the last time anyone had their motor pumped, fuel tested, wing measured, saftey checked at Chico or any other track. is it just a thing of the past?
Fact is you never see a hood come off after the races, just a set of scales that you can roll the car around and change the weight 100 to 150 lbs.
Just wondering why it's not done anymore?

Great question. I've heard rumors of 390ci 360's and 440ci 410's.

I saw a tweet from Andy Forsberg a few months ago stating he was pumped after a 360 weekly show at Petaluma. Someome said a few cars stacks were measured at Ocean Speedway once earlier this year. But, you are right, inspection should be a regular occurance or at the very least, random after the main event winner is checked, JMO.
