PLACERVILLE, CA (3-1-15) – It's no secret thatPlacerville Speedway's Red Hawk Casino 50th Anniversary Season presented by Thompson's Auto Group, Hoosier Tires and Coors Light offers an abundance of inflated winnings and championship bonuses in the season to come. However, one of the most unique and lucrative additions to the commemorative season to come will be the special "Placerville Posse" series within the regular championship.

The brand new "Placerville Posse Challenge" is a special four race campaign that includes the following events; April 11, April 25, August 1 and August 22. Each of these dates will offer inflated winnings with the Domco Plumbing Sprint division winner earning $2000, The Domco Plumbing Limited Late Model winner earning $750 and the Jay's Mobile Welding Pure Stocks paying $500 to the winner.

Not only will the checkered flags produce a good share of winnings on each of these nights, an added bonus for the Sprint Car division throws a unique twist into the theme of this special challenge during the season.  Any driver in the sprint car division who can win all four of these races will earn an additional $2000 bonus thanks to the collaboration of Red Hawk Casino and all of the many sponsors that have come together in many ways this season.

Should a Sprint Car Driver win all four of these unique events, he or she will net $10,000 in combined winnings from each event and the series bonus. If no driver wins all four, these bonus funds will be split among those drivers who win on these designated nights. A special Placerville Posse trophy presentation will also take place on the final night of season.

The Placerville Posse Challenge was developed this season to allow drivers the option to compete for inflated winnings and a bonus without having to travel far from the track they call home while providing an exciting short series within the season for fans. The designated nights are open to any competitor who decides to take to the high banks of the exciting bullring for the opportunity to score a significant bounty and earn further awards for earning multiple wins.

The 2015 racing season will open at Placerville Speedway with a special practice night on Sunday, March 29th which is a $20 pit entry per person for all types of oval dirt race cars. Racing begins on April 4 with the King of the West Sprint Cars and the  Midget Lites of Bay Cities Racing Association followed by the April 8  STP World of Outlaws Sprint Car event. The weekly championship series and the first Placerville Posse Challenge night will take the green flag on Saturday, April 11.

Tickets prices for these different events vary and are detailed on the Placerville Speedway website at www.placervillespeedway.com. Admission prices do not include a  $6 parking fee to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds for all events.
