Ten Race NCRA Late Model Schedule Released!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – February 4, 2012 - The 2012 schedule for the National Championship Racing Association late model division has been released with ten races scheduled at seven different venues in three different states.
The 29th year for the tour kicks off on Saturday night, May 26th at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska in their first of three appearances at the beautiful Southern Nebraska complex.
Then the gladiators of the series will be in action over the Fourth of July holiday kicking off with their first of two visits at the home track of the series, 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas on Tuesday night, July 3rd. Then one night later the tour will head to Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma on Wednesday "Independence Day" evening in the tours first appearance atop the Garfield County Fairgrounds since 2009.
On Friday night, July 13th the late model tour will take part on the opening night of the 56th annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas. From there it will be an overnight trip to Mid-Nebraska Speedway in Doniphan, Nebraska for the 11th annual "NCRA Late Model Nationals" with the Colorado based CLMA also competing.
After a one year absence Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska will host the "Rumble in the Bullring" as the series takes on the Missouri based MARS series on Friday night, August 4th. Then on Saturday night, 81 Speedway will host the "NCRA vs. MARS Late Model Showdown."
The 9th annual "King of the Hill Late Model Nationals" takes place on Friday and Saturday night, August 10-11 with the Missouri based MLRA also competing.
The tour wraps up on Sunday night, September 2nd atop the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas.
The upcoming 2012 race season will be the 42nd consecutive for the Park City based National Championship Racing Association, which sanctions five different racing divisions in a four state area. Other divisions the series sanction include sprint cars, modifieds, southern sport modifieds and the new 305 sprint car division.
