The format for the Oval Nationals will be as follows;

Friday Night Pea pick for line up position, Hot laps, 3 Heat races, and if time permits the top 4 from each heat race will transfer to a 15 lap qualifer. Saturdays main event line up will be determined by the finishing results of the qualifier, and a pea pick for the invert will be pulled by the winner of the qualifier.

Saturday Night Hot laps, B main if needed, and a 20 lap main event.

Wheel packing starts at 4:00 pm on Friday and 4:30 on Saturday.

The Lightning Sprint will be pitted out back due to the large number of Sprint cars entered for the Oval Nationals.

What if you can't make it Friday night? Start at back of Main?

How many cars will be in Main? I wouldn't want to tow up there and not be able to run.

Chris, All cars not racing on Friday night will tag the back of the main event unless we have more than 24 car in which case we will be running a B main first and transfering the additional 12 cars to the feature.

hopefully time wont permit because that is one of the dumbest ideas i have ever read... really a 15 lap qualifier and a pea pick... what for so we can run our cars into the ground before Saturday night.... if your going to run a qualifier i would make it for 100 points since its 15 laps and we usually only race 20laps hmmmmmm... and why not a double points race like we have had in the past... just a thought from the only one who's not afraid to speak up... make it right and FUN AGAIN!!! layton kramer non member
