Obviously the 305 deal last year got a late start. Consequently it had a rough time scheduling dates and ironing out a rules package. Any idea if any attempts will be made to make to go in 2010?
Here is just an idea that I had been kicking around to make the 305 class new and unique. Why not make the 305 class a traveling non-wing deal? Revise the rules to be more compatable with the URSS cars. As to draw from that base. This will also draw cars from the Grain Valley, MO area as they will be doing some non-wing suff next year. People in this area have had nothing but 360 and 305 wing races since I can remember. They are beat to death with it. Give people and racetracks something NEW. Something that will spark the intrest of fans and racers alike. A non-wing car takes down the motor advantage. It is easier on both motor and car. And most of all it puts the skill back in the drivers hands! This is just a thought of mine. Take it for what its worth. But if NCRA is going to continue with 305 they are going to have to come up with a better mouse trap in order to get racetracks and date in a already overlysaturated 305 environment.
