This afternoon (Monday) I visited with Rick's wife Jenny, his sister and parents at St. Francis hospital while Rick slept. Jenny said that Rick has not yet regained full conciousness, although he does respond to people talking to him. She said he will squeeze your hand if asked and is aware of things going on around him. His vital signs are strong, and he has no broken bones but did have a concussion, his 4th during 30 years of racing. This evening they were planning to do an MRI to help determine his condition. Here's hoping he makes a full recovery. Allan Unruh

Rick England Medical Fund, C/O Bank of the West, 757 N. West Street Wichita, KS 67203. I would appreciate any help you could give us.
It's sad I found this on the Southwest Missouri Forum posted by a brother. All of the years racing out of Wichita, KS transplanting from the Dallas area and racing with the NCRA and nothing said here about it. I thought it was time to change that.
Here is the thread in its entirety http://www..com/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=18969
As Rick is a veteran of the sport I included it on my site!
