Glad to see he is okay after a wicked crash at Bridgeport last night. He was bouncing around like a ping pong ball. A testiment to his safety gear, and his chassis manufacturer RPM Chassis which protected him. That was a very scary accident, which even upset the other drivers. Anthony Macri even commented in his podium interview with Blake Anderson afterwards how horrific it looked.

Genuinely wondering here...what part of that accident do you believe was the track's fault?

The part where the back of his roll cage was able to impact the fence post at the opening for the flagstand. Way too big of an opening in the catch fence and having a post with zero give to it at the opening is inviting trouble.

I would agree the openings should be smaller or as small as possible. Looks like a car could almost fit through the hole in question. It is scary to see a cage come apart like that but also remember that if the cage is too rigid the stress goes into the drivers body. I don't claim to know the safe ratio between holding together and coming apart but in this case the car is destroyed and the driver walks away. Sounds like it is all on the right side of the line to me.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Be thankful, that car absorbed a lot of energy in that accident. That's what you want and it very easily could have been much worse

So what's up with Justin and the 13 team? Is he banged up more that what has been told or are they out of chassis's? Thought for sure they would have been at Lincoln last night for 10 grand to win as well as they run there.

Justin Fiedler hinted that peck had symptoms of a concussion after the crash and needed some time off to recover.

That hard of a hit can cause a variety of muscle issues, arms, shoulders, neck and spine can sometimes show up days after the accident. It can also end careers, let's all hope Justin makes a full recovery and comes back only when he is ready. The guy is a pleasure to watch.
