Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone on here is a number's guy/girl. I'm taking an online motorsports marketing class and I need to gather some demographic information on sprint car racing. I'm coming up pretty empty handed online just googling, and while I've reached out to some series, I haven't gotten any response back. My project is due on Sunday, so while I have some time, I can't wait forever.

Anyone? Maybe?

Bill W has given me some from about 10 years ago, so if I find nothing, I do have something. But, on the off chance someone has something more recent, I'd really appreciate the help!

The outlaws published something this past fall. I'd try to get in contact with with one of the media directors at WoO/WRG. Open up the rulebook on the outlaw site and at the beginning of the rules it lists a bunch of contacts. maybe @ them on twitter?

I have reached out to the World Of Outlaws, as well as other series, which is why I included that in my original post, because that's the most obvious thing to do. LOL. I've @ them, sent DM's, and sent e-mails, I haven't had a response in 36 hours. I'm sure I'm the least of their concern right now, with going back to racing.

I found this link when I googled. I'm trying to get more updated information. How am I supposed to follow someone on a message board?

Try reaching out to Kendra Jacobs on Twitter (@KendraJJacobs)

There's also some really high-level demographics that used to be on the DirtCar Nationals site but you can still grab it from the weyback machine:

Interesting info. I've always wondered about how many people subscribe to Dirtvision. Great for them and showing the WoO sprints so I can watch a race from home that's a 1000 miles away.

" • 40,000 subscribers to DIRTvision (online series broadcasts)"

Man, you guys are sure teaching me some online researching things! LOL.

Thank you! I wondered about the Dirt Vision subscribers myself, too.

Bryan Hulbert from the Lucas Oil series actually responded to me yesterday and shared a demographic survey on Twitter. To which he gave me the livefeed link results.

If anyone is on Twitter and wants to look him up, he has the survey linked there to take. The information is extremely helpful!

I'm not sure exactly how helpful this would be. I have a facebook page with about 1500 likes on it that is related to dirt racing (not specifically sprint cars as we also are involved with a modified team as well). The demographics for those who like our page are below:

Men: 92%

Women: 8%

Under 24: 14.35%

25 - 54: 73.5%

55+: 12.15%

This had to be series related, not facebook demographics. But, thank you though. Just wasn't what I needed.
