BRANDEIS MIDWEST SPRINTS HEAD TO PARAGON SPEEDWAY

Haubstadt, IN - May 29, 2019 -  The BRANDEIS Midwest Sprint Car
Series will be racing on Friday night only this weekend.  The May
31st Special Event follows a three-for-all last weekend that had the
series racing at three tracks in Indiana on consecutive nights.  This
time the race teams will travel to race at the Paragon Speedway.  The
track is located on Old Highway 67 at Paragon, IN.

Special Event or Encore Performance?  Fans will want to see all the
action.  The program will feature the MSCS sprints in a complete
program.
But there is more!  More sprint car racing!  Promoter Joe Spiker will also
be presenting the Paragon Sprints.  The MSCS feature will pay $2,000 to
win!  The Paragon Sprints feature will pay $500 to win.  Drivers
registering with MSCS will not be able to compete in the Paragon Sprints
portion of the program.

MSCS has raced at Paragon Speedway before.  Records indicate that the
series was at the 3/8 mile high banked track in both 2010 and 2011.
The occasion was the annual Chuck Amati Classic which had mid June
dates.  This year the series is scheduled to return to Paragon on
Thursday July 4th and again on August 16th.

Kyle Cummins currently leads the BRANDEIS MSCS Points standings.  The
4 time champion captured the first feature held this season and then
took a second win this past Sunday night.  Brady Short has moved up
to second in points.  He is looking for that first victory after
returning to full time competition with the series this season.
Stephen Schnapf, Donny Brackett, and Brandon Mattox round out the top
five in points.  Chayse Hayhurst leads the Rookie Standings.  Rookie
Kyle Hathaway currently ranks second.

Racing this Friday night will begin at 7:30.  Hot laps start at 6:30
P. M.  Fans filling the stands will see some very competitive racing.
In the prior four races only 4 drivers have managed to repeat as top
five finishers.  Those four are Kyle Cummins, Kevin Thomas Jr.,
Stephen Schapf, and defending champ Carson Short.  Sixty different
drivers have competed with the BRANDEIS Midwest Sprint Car Series so
far this season.
