I couldn't find the old thread (admittedly I gave up after only looking at a few of the archives), but if memory serves, it was only a few months ago that there was a thread lamenting what would be a steep decline in the quality of the field that was following the All Stars for the 2019 season....it seems that thread may have been a bit premature even with the loss of Macedo, the uncertainty of Kemenah's future, the scaling back of Dave Blaney and Smith going to Heffner.

Eliason (new full time team), Reutzel (a team most thought would go a different direction)  and McMahon (uncertainty of funding for the full year) all confirming full time ASCOC schedules in last 10-12 days.  I think the tour will be just fine this year.

Eliason

Zearfoss

Bayston

McMahan

Reutzel

Those 5 alone should make for an interesting points battle. Im still holding out hope Greg Wilson runs ASCoC. Maybe a bit of a longshot but it would be cool if Kemeah and Dale Blaney found something as well.

I'm with you, I think it will be as good as last year and hopefully better. The drivers don't really care for points racing, but me as a fan, I sure do ...!! And that's what I think we will get with Reutzel, Eliason and McMahan. Well, that’s if McMahan can secure a full season worth of sponsors.

All three drivers are exciting to watch race each other. Mix in the rest of the touring drivers, then the mix of local track drivers and the Posse on top of that and you have what it takes to fill the stands ..!! I'm ready ...!!! lol

Throw in Gio in the 71 IRP and Tim Schaffer for a good many All Star races too.

Any word on Jac's 2019 plans?

Agree on Greg Wilson - would love to see him come back to the All Stars.

Any news on the Magee #11 that is certainly a potent ride with the right driver ,would be the perfect place for Chad or Dale also whats up with Kevin Swindell originally he and Bayston were going to run the ALL Stars.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Dale just continued what he was doing at the end of last year running locally in the #4 for Jimmy Morris.

The top of the all-stars looks to be good, Ruetzal is the clear favorite but Bayston, Eliason, Zearfoss, and McMahon will all be competing at the top most of the year. The big thing they need is to get some depth. Looks like Conley will be back but otherwise haven’t seen any confirmation of other guys following. Need to get at least 10 guys

MaGee posted on Indiana Open Wheel they are running ASCOC in 2019. They didn't specify a driver. Not sure if Max will be back for part of the year or someone else will drive full time.

Bayston will be driving 1 of the 2 Pete Grove owned entries. Zearfoss will be in the other car.

They have a fulltime driver hired. It is not Kemenah
