What's the word on this show? I know that tons of rain has been falling not too far away in Boone IA....but is this show good to go?
Last year it was a damn good show all around, even the LMs were gittin r dun. This year the addition of what appears to be two vintage lead sled groups can only be a plus.
How many WAR guys are going to make the tow this year? I think last year's show brought 18 which is just fine in the bowl...maybe a couple more this year with that new MN group that was trying to race @ Jackson?

Grain Valley MO forecast isn't the best...would WAR cancel both to save the racers gas money if Saturday forecast takes a turn for the worse?
<EDIT>
never mind, I just saw the WAR tweet that announced that Saturday has been cancelled but Sunday @ Eagle is still on. To Casey Shuman and everyone involved with WAR....thank you from a Colorado race fan itching to see some sliders.

Looking good for Sunday......weather should be good starting tomorrow.....I’d expect 30+ Racesaver, sprints, 30+ MBSLM late models, 25WAR, and 15 or so of each vintage group (MCSA 1955-1972) and GOTRA (coupes and sedans).....looking forward to it.....SC

Nebraska Cup was a good show again. The track got slicker than I was hoping for when the forecast was for 90+% humidity and one vintage class would have been enough, but overall another damn fine show.
I read that the WAR top two started 17th and 16th....hard to complain about the track but yet I still did. Hopefully my comment is taken as a compliment, I hold Eagle Raceway to a very high standard.

The IMCA/POWRI sprint cars & Late Models would have been fine with me. 85 Cars between those 3 classes.
Jason Martin did come from 17th to win the POWRI sprint feature because he was one of the very few that drove right next to the wall all the way around the slick track.
Great show @ Eagle, looking forward to 2019.
