Do the All Stars run the same Hoosier tire as the WoO? I know that ASCS runs Hoosier tires too, but it's a different tire than the WoO tire. I noticed Sammy ran 2nd last night at Knoxville. If it's the same tire that WoO runs, then maybe he's figured out a setup that works well with that tire? That could make things interesting for the Nationals.

The tire rules for the Outlaws and the All Stars are almost word-for-word identical. Sammy has been racing in a lot of 410 races over the past month or so and is starting to get the feel back of racing a real sprint car.

I doubt he's ever lost the feel for it. He just couldn't find a dryslick setup for that particular Hoosier tire after being so good on Goodyears. Maybe he's gotten some good information from running with different teams and comparing notes with them.

Agree on the tire setup thing. Kevin may also be providing some input.
