Tim Alberding Wins For The Second Time With The Wingless Spring Series

Lebanon, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series would roll into Willamette Speedway for the first time in 2018. It was the sixth race of the campaign for the tour and the fourth different facility they have visited this year. Seventeen cars were in the pit area representing the states of Oregon and Washington.
Tim Alberding of Salem would conquest the field for the second time in 2018. It is the first time he has won at Willamette with the WSS. Sherwood’s Rob Lindsey was second followed by Lance Hallmark, from McMinnville, in third. The rest of the top five was made up Sandy native Mark Herz, in fourth, and fifth finishing Otto Jorgeson of Auburn, Washington.
The Wingless Sprint Series takes a little time off before resuming the 2018 schedule. The series will head to Cottage Grove Speedway on Saturday, July 7th for their biggest race of the year, the Herz Precision Parts Wingless Nationals. For more information log on to wingless.nwextremeseries.com .
