Been trying to hit them all. So far good racing. The best i believe has been Grandview. Guess the bull ring theory i see folks talk about. Not sure what changed at BAPS but after two laps of the feature seeing cars on the track was like the game " wheres Waldo". While you always expect dust paying 25 to see heats and then searching for cars in the feature not my idea of a good race. Maybe the new clay but seems like a norm there based on the seating which was covered in dust. Like some of the changes and the track was becoming one of my favs but last night made me think twice. Heard the same from others there. Feel sorry for folks watching at home. First turn the worst. Feel sorry for drivers,as well. Hope they figure out the extreme dust before speedweek show.

Baps doesn't get a speedweek show so dust won't be a problem.

Fake synthetic clay aka dirt. .Jersey barriers trying to act like real concrete walls.. Dusty as hell all the time. Making sayings up like "the famous curb". A curb doesn't mean shit if it's half a track width from the guardrail. (That goes for you too Williams Grove.) Billboards everywhere. Not that billboards are a bad thing, but it's over the top and looks cheesy. Susky/BAPS is not a MOTOR speedway. Eldora Jackson Mansfield Charlotte are motor speedways. Susky, while slightly improved from Todd Fisher era, is nothing but lipstick on a pig. Nice try Red.

It was so hard to see in turns 1&2, all I could do was try to keep track of the leaders, didn't dare follow any other battles back in the field. Last time I was there, USAC midgets last summer, was one of the highlites of the season for me.... who knows?
I don't know much about track prep, but shouldn't they "dig up" the track a bit before watering? Water sprinkled on top obviously didn't help much at all.....
But I'm definitely not gonna give up on BAPS/Susky....

The driver interviews says it all... Great billboards... Dismal visibility.
We saw racing for about 10 laps untilthe dust was so bad the drivers could no longer see well enough to pass each other.
The place always throw dust...but last night had essentially no wind to worry about or clear the dust for that matter...the dust rolled off the tires like a stampede of wild mustangs...disappearing into the turns and shooting out the other side of the dust storm.
$25 ticket price...figure out how to fix the surface before it all floats away and settles in the next county.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

I'd say no. Look at the different styles- full sentences and foul mouth. It's probably someone who wants to hang onto Robert Altmand coat tails and share the fame with him. Some people have low aspirations.

It doesn't matter how they water it cause it doesn't hold moisture period. It's not real clay. Kolten might be fooling the average race fan but he's not fooling the race teams.

Funny thing is I heard similar tales of dust about the show at Grandview.

Grandview wasn't blowing off on Twitter about all the new "red clay" and the "famous curb". Talking a bunch of shit and worrying about billboards and suites while the racing surface is STILL terrible. The core problems are still there. Hence the saying lipstick on pig. Get it now?

HO ray Altman is back nobody gets this board going better , What tracks dont have dust and Billboars mean $$$$$$$$ as long as the promoters are putting the money back into the track or giving it to the drivers I have no problem.
