Wagner Speedway Announces Increased Payouts In All 5 Classes September 23rd
Through a cooperative effort from race track ownership and management, along with bonus money offered by local and regional businesses and friends of racing, Wagner Speedway is proud to announce the total purse for the big special event on Saturday, September 23rd to be over $22,000. This night is sure to be the biggest night in track history with drivers from across the upper-Midwest expected and the biggest total purse the race track has ever seen. On the docket is the Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 Sprint Cars with their Season Championship. Tracy's Paint and Body of Parkston has been joined by newly announced partners Underburg Lawn Care and American Truck Stores to increase the Sprint Car purse to nearly $12,000 alone. This Season Championship event will pay the $1750 to win and $300 to start. With no Sprint Car racing within 800 miles of the track that weekend, this is sure to be a well attended show by the regions top drivers.
Late Models, Pro Stocks/Super Stocks, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks will also be in action that night with plenty of cash up for grabs. Thanks to 2017 Late Model Champion Jared Hoerle and his family Rachel, Ron and Cindy, they are putting up an extra $400, which will make the Late Models a $1000 to win show. 2017 Pro Stock/Super Stock Champion Joel Namminga and Namminga Hay Grinding have pledged $500 in bonus purse to make their show $1000 to win. Wagner Speedway, Inc has added $500 to the B-Mod purse to make it a $1000 to win event and Fischer Farms has put $300 into the Hobby Stock class to make it a $500 to win race.
