Where is a good place to sit? Never been there and am going on the 22nd. My wife and I have been to alot of tracks, meeting a friend there who has never been to an outlaw race. Any help would be appriciated. Calling to order tickets tomorrow. Thanks!

Get as high up as you can. The haulers block the view in the lower seats. I personally like the front stretch seats being I usually bring one or both of my young daughters with me. If you like a little of a party atmosphere then the backstretch and/or beer hill is decent place. I'm sure others will chime in.

Big Right Rear has a good post about different seating sections at the Grove. Something about church, partying, and something or other... its spot on.
As Kossuth said, there's really no bad seat provided you get high enough in the stands. I sat low on the frontstretch once before and it wasnt bad. You definitely lost the cars going into the middle of 3 and 4.

if you don't care to see much of the action but want food choices that other fan zones are denied - take a chair and sit in the infield
If you go to church and like your racing experience to be like going to church - sit on the front stretch
if you go to bars and like your racing experience to be like going to a bar - sit on the back stretch
if you like to watch racing while tossing empty beer cans at the catch fence with a side bet on the first can that passes thru the fence grid and drops on the other side - bring a 12 pack of cans and stand on beer hill
if you like to drink beer and meet the locals - park in the backstretch parking area and look for the Beer Hill Gang Entourage
