When looking at a sprinter, you see the big RR and figure that is what drives the car.  I've seen quite a few tracks where it looks like the left rear does as much or more at times.  What things factor into this?  Why do cars lean on the RR on some tracks and the LR on others?  Is it all related to mechanical traction?  Driver preference/style?  Line on the track?  Moisture/lack of moisture?

Don Don uses both rear tires

a Wing car will use the left more 

non wing all right rear

Don Don's tires (both LR and RR as you note) are ALWAYS pushing forward and he never gets out from under himself. Both wheels are always driving positively forward, it's actually amazing to watch...
