TICKETS GOING FAST for TONY STEWART Presents TEXAS SPRINT CAR NATIONALS at TMS's DIRT TRACK, APRIL 7-8!

FT. WORTH, TX (2/24/17) by DarinShort.com. For the first time in several years, when the sun goes down the dirt will fly at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR weekend, with the running of Tony Stewart presents Texas Sprint Car Nationals.

Racing takes place nightly at 8pm on Friday, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th, featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series. Tony Stewart, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kenny Wallace have already committed to compete in racing events nightly.

Two-day, reserved, grandstand tickets are selling at a blistering pace - grab yours now before they sell out!

Just
click here and in a couple of minutes you'll be all set for both nights of high speed dirt track racing. The two-day advance reserved grandstand passes will save you a total of $11.

General Admission grandstand tickets are also on sale. G.A. seats are located in corners 1 & 4...while supplies last, at the above link.

Pit passes are available for purchase on race day and are available at the TMS Credentials Trailer, located at Mark Martin Drive, across the street from pit entrance (the back side of the dirt track entrance next to I-35W and the large marquee sign). Advance pit passes are available for purchase online, and note that online pit pass purchases can only be picked up at the TMS Credentials trailer on race day.  No ATVs, UTVs, golf carts allowed in pit area unless it is assigned to a race team in the dirt pit area.

Nightly pit pass prices are $35 each, but on Friday night at the track (April 7th) you can purchase a 2-day pit pass for $60, a savings of $10. Note that pit passes do not include grandstand admission to this event.

You can upgrade your pit pass nightly at the ticket booth at the main grandstand entrance on the west side of the track for $20 (if G.A. admission is still available).

Conversely, if you would like to upgrade any grandstand seat to include a pit pass, you can do so for $20 nightly using the same procedure at the grandstand ticket booth.

Both of these upgrade, or combo-ticket, options are only available on race day.

'Race Fan Tip' from this writer: my suggestion is get your reserved G.A. tickets now. Then on race night if you decide "Hey, this is a great day to go take a selfie in the pits next to Tony Stewart's sprint car" (for example), then all you have to do is go to the grandstand ticket booth and upgrade to a pit pass at that point.  Then you don't have to risk not having a grandstand seat while you're out having fun in the pit area.

If you've yet to get your NASCAR weekend tickets, you can click here. Then you'll have your weekend plate full of racing at both tracks...day and night!

Back to 'the dirt' on Tony Stewart presents Texas Sprint Car Nationals events: joining the ASCS Sprint Cars will be the TMS Limited Modified Invitational. Both divisions will compete in heat races, B-features and Championship A-features nightly.

Entries are closed in the Limited Modified division; no other entries will be added. The ASCS Sprint Cars will register upon arrival on race night, so there is no 'early driver registration' page for this event for either division.

There is a supplemental Race Fan page going up at www.darinshort.com/ts.html that contains complete Tony Stewart presents Texas Sprint Car Nationals information such as directions, pictures, video clips, ticketing links, detailed schedule, event press releases and any urgent messages that the Speedway might wish to convey along the way and much more. Please save this web link as it will be updated frequently between now and through the race weekend.

THANK YOU to all of the race fans that have already purchased tickets to Tony Stewart presents Texas Sprint Car Nationals for April 7th-8th at TMS's Dirt Track; please click here to get yours if you've yet to do so...as it's going to be the perfect addition to complete your O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR weekend!

Just curious, how much appearance money are you paying to Stewart, Stenhouse, and Wallace?

I may want to put up the appearance money for one or some of them to race at another track.

I don't really think there's any sort of official 'à la carte' menu from track to track with race teams.

In this case, NASCAR tracks have various affiliations with drivers, sponsors; etc. and it's pretty complex; so I don't think you can really make a blanket statement.

Best thing to do is you're interested in attracting certain drivers to your event is just to call them and work out the details. From my experience many of them are workable, it mainly depends on schedules and so forth.

...and in this case, the NASCAR drivers are already 1/2 mile across the parking lot from the TMS Dirt Track.

Tickets are still available in the main grandstand area as of this moment.

Reminder to the sprint car fans out there:

If you plan on going, I'd grab them now, before the throngs of NASCAR fans scoop up the remaining ones...as this isn't a 'normal" sprint car race...there are 150,000 NASCAR fans looking for things to do as well:

As you can see by the following live screenshot of the ticketing page, the center sections of the stands are effectively sold out.

The outer sections currently have decent seating available.

Reminder this event is on NASCAR Cup weekend, so all of the NASCAR fans are snatching up tickets to this event left and right, so all of you 'traditional' sprint car fans need to be aware that this event will most likely sell out, so if you know you are going, I would highly suggest you grab tickets well in advance, at:

In the meantime, tickets are really becomming thin in the center sections, with decent seats remaining at the moment in the outer sections, at:

ASCS SPRINT CAR TEAMS:

There's some misinformation flying around amongst some race teams that the sprint car field is restricted to this event.

That is NOT the case whatsoever.

Here's an except from the press release I posted on 2/24, which clearly states that sprint car teams just simply show up and race on race night:

---------------

Entries are closed in the Limited Modified division; no other
entries will be added. The ASCS Sprint Cars will register
upon arrival on race night, so there is no 'early driver
registration' page for this event for either division.

---------------------

Please help spread this to other teams so it nips this in the bud. Thanks!

Next Monday we'll have another exciting sprint car driver announcement for this event.

I can't give out any hints this time. (great, technically I suppose that is a hint!)

For some of you that have been diligently keeping up with these news updates, thank you.

But I cannot stress enough to you sprint car fans out there, this is not a normal sprint show that you just show up on race day, buy a ticket and go watch the races.

There are 150,000 NASCAR fans already at the big track on the other side of the parking lot as it's Cup weekend at TMS.

They're buying up tickets left and right; so if you are planning on attending, please grab them...now.

Tickets are remaining at the moment in the outer grandstand sections, at:

Here's the complete event fan info hub for this event containing everything you need to know, from directions, facility map, parking locations, tickets and detailed weekend schedules.  Smile

Sure lmfao  59.00 all I can say is I go to Knoxville every sat night the best show each night is the 360 bunch the best nationals is the 360 nationals year after year that's the best racing.People just think 360 and that means 2nd class slower? All that?not if all the cars are painted the same and there are know 410 cars and the add don't say limited or 360 cars most people don't or can't tell the difference so a good race is a good race 13 flat or 14 flat both are just fast.plus Donny don't win each night. I

The heat in Texas is already here, with highs today in the upper 80's.

But the heat at TMS's Dirt Track just went up to another level for April 7th-8th, as Sammy Swindell has confirmed his plans on competing in this event.

Personally speaking, one of the most exciting events I ever witnessed at Texas Motor Speedway was in 2004 when Danny Lasoski won IROC. It firmly cemented his abilities as a race car driver - not just primarily a sprint car driver.

Yet he hasn't really had that many opportunities to race at TMS's Dirt Track.

But he will be one of the few drivers that can say they won at both the big track and dirt track, if he picks up a win at the Texas Sprint Car Nationals on April 7-8, as he is now entered into the event.

This addition will bring even more excitement to the full lineup of ASCS National and Regional drivers...along with the list of previously announced drivers.
