hope all race fans in illinois will take time to send senator  toi w. hutchinson from chicago a message about how u feel about her proposed amusement admission tax of 5% . if u go to her website and look on right side of her webpage see  contact info and will take u too a spot where u can fill in your info and tell her what u wish to say. ps she is a democrat from chicago, go figure.

State of Ill. is flat ass broke.  A $20.00 race ticket will cost you one more dollar which is not the end of the world, but I understand your point as to when do taxes stop.

alot of people think if you raise taxes you bring more money into the state. no it has the opposite affect. I will not support a tax and spend state like Illinois!

I'm assuming (I don't really know) that this is something that is already happening everywhere. Don't all of these tracks/promoters have to pay some kind of tax on what they take in on ticket sales? She's simply proposing(and I'm not defending her in any way) an additional 5% above what they're already bringing in in her state. Once again, this is simply a basic assumption and I don't know what the laws might be in any specific area. However, you can rest assured that anywhere money is being made that the government on all levels will have their hands in the cookie jar no matter if they have a D or an R after their name.
