THANK YOU to the 137 quality race teams from 7 states and all the fans for their support of the LoneStar Speedway Topless Turkey Nationals yesterday afternoon and early evening.

The weatherman was off by about 10 degrees, but it didn't seem to affect the fans that shown up, as they were treated to fast-paced action on the wide high-banks expanses. The 40-lap late model feature concluded before 6:45pm, as evidence of the quickly moving show...19 late models finished the event. Late Model lap times were recorded in the low 14 second bracket!
Special thanks to Brandon Hightower for taking an hour to meet and greet the LoneStar fans upon their arrival, we wish him continued best of luck in the NASCAR XFINITY series in 2017 (see pic below).

With this race, it concludes our 2017 LoneStar Speedway racing season. 
Not to worry, we'll be firing back up in just a bit more than 2 months with the running of the 3rd Sprint Smackdown on Saturday, February 11th.
Then the term 'high speed' is set for new meaning, as March 2017 is WORLD of OUTLAWS MONTH at LoneStar Speedway! TICKET info will be posted here and our website when available.

Are we taking bets that the WoO Sprints will hit the 10 second bracket at LoneStar?!?! I think it could happen!!
The Knoxville videographer recently shot the Sprint Car Bandits at LoneStar and he said "This place is just like a Little Eldora, I hope the fans realize how rare of a track like this is!"
So we're really excited about the 2017 season.
