David was an official with USAC & Ventura Raceway for many years. He traveled with the midgets for a long time. 8-26-2015 he passed away. He was a big supporter of racing and you could see him on the front straight walk way at Ventura Raceway on his scooter. He was the reason why I was involved in racing and a huge fan watching his grandsons Zack and Matt run the 96 & 16 in their sport compacts. We will be having services for him at Camino Del Sol Funeral home in Oxnard on September 5th at 11:00 am. We will gather afterwards for stories and bench racing.
