I have not seen a sprint car race there in a long time, but the late models, modifieds, etc. put on a good show there.

Looks like Friday is ASCS Warrior Region and the wingless show is WAR. Sept 5th and 6th, is at RCR in Moberly. I couldn't find an official website but they do post info on facebook under Scotland County Speedway.

If you've never been there... It's just like Oskaloosa , only ALOT farther from civilization!

The race at Memphis on September 4 is an all sprint show with no door bangers, featuring both the ASCS Warrior Region and WAR Sprints. It's a two hour drive for me on twisty, windy roads littered with deer, but I plan on attending. Seeing two classes of sprint cars without modifieds or stock cars as support classes is a rarity in Missouri, so I hope this show does well.
The two shows at Moberly that same weekend are looking like this:
Saturday Sept. 5th- ASCS Warrior Region, WAR Sprints (Heats only), USRA B-Mods, Hobby Stocks, 4 Cylinders (open rules package)
Sunday Sept. 6th- ASCS Warrior Region, WAR Sprints (Features), ULMA Late Models
I'm looking forward to hitting all of these shows, but it's going to be A LOT of driving back and forth. Should be fun!

It is NOT just like Oskaloosa. It is a shorter track (3/8) and is much racier than the Oskaloosa track.

Ur right it's definitely racier than osky. I should have been more specifiC. I was speaking more in terms of it being an older (covered)fair grounds type of racetrack. I was there with a late model and a modified many yrs ago. Always a racy joint. Except the night the lights went out with the modifieds at full tilt boogie. That was interesting.

Looks like pretty sweeping turns. I think Osky can be like that if they take in the tires 20' feet. I'd like to see TMAC try that one year.

Sprint cars have not raced at Memphis since 2001 when Randy Martin won. This should be an exiting night of open wheel racing with only two classes of cars. A rare chance to see winged and non wings sprint cars for one ticket. Grandstands open at 6 pm with hot laps at 7:30 pm. Adult tickets are $15.

I would hope a few other Knoxville guys would come as well since they're season is over, or at least the ones that travel with the Sprint Invaders.

I think there might be a few. I also hope there are a few ASCS National guys that show up for all three races this weekend in MIssouri as there's some good money to be won.
