AJ, I guess I haven't heard this at all, but from the way Forbrook has picked drivers in the past I'd say he's a long way from being in his car. Not to take a thing away from Dustin at all...I think he's talented and a good guy, and will go far in this sport. Forbrook is pretty damn picky though!

If that is the case and I were Dustin I wouldn't sell the 55L equipment. Guy has a reputation for expecting quick results. Forbrook is running his own deal and he's got to keep the sponsors happy so I'm not going to second guess the way he runs his racing business.

I've been hoping for Guy to put a driver from Minnesota in his car. If this is true and Lindquist does drive for Forbrook I'd like to see Guy give Dustin time to become familiar with the tracks and competitors. Like I say, good news if it's true but the Lindquist family might want to keep their racing equipment in the pole barn for a while.

It is true, Dustin will be driving for Guy Forbrook, I also heard that Jason Solwold is out of the R19 410 car. They need to put Scott Winters in that car. That would be a good match for that car. Scott is ready to go somewhere besides Jackson.

Solwold out of the R19? What's up with that? I saw him bring that car from a long ways back to the top 5 many times this summer.....Maybe they need to change the wrench wink =

I'm not totally sure about the Solwold thing, this is just something that I have heard more then once. You know how the silly seasons can go. But if he he out, I hope Scott gets the ride.

I guess I am kinda suprised about the "rumored" split of Jason Solwald & the R19 team as I thought Jason ran a pretty good year this year, he didn't tear up the equipment and he did get a couple wins out on the road for a new team running out on the road with a some-what full schedule. If this is true I also would like to see Scott Winters get a chance to run out on the road with this team as he has showen he isn't afraid to get on the gas. Let the silly season begin.

That sucks for Solwold, unless he has other intentions to race other things.

In Sprint Car Racing, Would you rather have someone that can start up front and win or come from the back and checkers a Top-5...

Who had the better run at K-Ville:

Schatz from the pole

or

Kinser and Lasoski from back row starts and tearing through a strong field.

Seems as thought it's all about the -W's-. Seems like only a few of us, give credit for stronger runs from the back. Win from the front row, ooooooooooooh, big deal. Why not start deep and pass a few cars, show some drive, skill and earn a decent win.

98A - Right on! I'm totally with you.......I'd much rather have/watch a guy that can run from the back, than start on the pole Smile

Sorry Jim but Schatz is way over-rated! Sorry but its the truth. He wouldn't have done as good as he did if he had to race against steve and danny all year long... Lets see what happens in 07 huh?

You've got to give any WoO driver who starts from the pole credit for their performance in time trails, Heats and Dash to put them in that position. That isn't an easy task and deserves a lot of respect. True, there are sometimes good runs from the back of the field and we enjoy seeing them but night in and night out drivers who time well, win their Heat, finish well in the Dash will end up higher in the points at the end of the year. Ideally if I was a car owner I'd want a driver who could do both, time well and do well in qualifying races as well as make a charge through the field. I don't care what the drivers name is, to make a charge from the back they've got to have a fast car same as they would to time well. Anymore whenever you see a memorable charge through the field it's usually because one of the top drivers had problems early in the program and was forced into that position to salvage something out of their evening.

All of the WoO drivers get my respect. They're all talented and would all be front runners with any local track if they weren't touring with the WoO. Even some of the so called "back markers" would be front runners at most weekly tracks.

Jerkman, er I mean Jwerkman, nobody is taking anything away from what Schatz has done......just discussing which one makes for a better race....coming from the back or starting in the front.....

what does this mean? who in the last years have done as donny nd not won knoxville

I'm not a big Schatz fan, but if he has the same resources and wrenches this year as he had last year, he is poised to kick come real outlaw ass this year . I dont care what their name or history is/was.

Donny had a great year, and beat the big dogs almost every time they went head to head this year. I seen the comparisons, when Staee, Danny and Donny were on the track together this year, but cannot quote the exact figure

Paging Michael98A, any results from head to head competition this year?

Didnt his head wrench jump ship earlier?

that is still a rumor, talked to scott's cousin yesterday and as of right now they are still driving the 360 car and as far as they knew that Solwald is still in the car
