Atlanta, GA - The O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com “Outlaw Thunder” Tour kicks off its’ O’Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 on Friday, May 25th at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri. The seven race series over nine days guarantees a minimum payout of $2100 for the week of speed to those drivers who enter all seven events and then qualify for and start all seven A-Main events. In addition, at least $1100 is guaranteed for any driver who enters and makes an honest attempt to race at all seven events even if they fail to qualify for the A-Main at all seven races.[/b]
For those with bigger plans, the posted guaranteed purse of nearly $100,000 for the Speed Week 2007 and posted bonus prizes make it is possible for one driver to win $20,000+ in seven races.
***Please note: The posted seven-race minimum guaranteed amounts include the accumulated winnings for the week and any points fund awards. USCS will pay any short fall to make up the difference in actual winnings and the posted guarantees. In addition to the guarantees, all of the O’Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 events will award both O’Reilly USCS National championship points and O’Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour regional championship points.
PLEASE NOTE*** A driver must pre-register for the Speed Week Round #1 race at Malden Speedway on Friday, May 25th by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 21st to be eligible for the Speed Week 2007 Minimum Guarantee program.
For your convenience, Speed Week 2007 re-registration can be made by using one of the following four (4) methods. Those four methods are by (1) calling the O'Reilly USCS at 404-886-5913 and informing USCS of your intentions before 11:59 pm on Monday, May 21, 2007. (2) By emailing your entry for the O'Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 Guarantee to [email protected] (3) By filling out the entry form enclosed with the O'Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 event notice on the way to you in the mail now and returning it in the mail to the O'Reilly USCS at 305 Industrial Way - Suite A, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214 to arrive before the 11:59 p.m. May 21, 2007 deadline. (4) By not waiting for the entry form to arrive, but just by writing your car number (with color) with driver name and address plus phone contacts (including cell #)and preferablly an email address (written legibily) on a plain sheet of paper and mailing it to the O'Reilly USCS at 305 Industrial Way - Suite A, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214 to arrive before the 11:59 p.m. May 21, 2007 deadline.
***The above minimum guarantees for the seven race O'Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 series are based on all seven races occuring. Should any of the events fail to occur due to inclement weather or cancellations for any reason the minimum guaranteed amounts will be subject to adjustment and pro-rated.
