Balog runs third against them for the second time in a row, they have top three go to front stretch then take the regulars, leave him out there, then disqualify him. Hmmm no wonder they can only get five cars for the whole deal. Nothing like taking care of there own. And they call the WoO the circus. At least he isn't afraid to get off the porch.

Balog and his team drive hours to get there, get 3rd, get disqualified (why?)... wonder if he'll ever be back. The All Stars might have trouble getting good racers to come if they keep treating people like that.

Just found it on twitter, he was disqualified for not reporting to the scale. What would you expect looks like the All Stars don't put up with krap, kudo's to the All Stars for having balls. Welcome to the real world, where rules ARE enforced! Where was Balog during the nationals, YEP on the PORCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't blame Balog if he never went back. Makes them Allstars look bad.

Yep a twit, dude take it easy did I call you names? Go to the front page it is right there.
ASCOC Correction: 17B-Bill Balog was DQ for not reporting to the scales after the Feature Event.
If im a twit what are you? Man I asked a simple question a while back and you rdbpower were a smart ass and now you got one!
One more time kudos to the All Stars for enforcing rules. Maybe just maybe the All Stars will return to Wisconsin next year. TSR rules

Donny Schatz won a All-Star race right before the Knoxville Nats with a 420 and they did nothing about that...lol at the No-Stars!

I guess the ALLSTARS are like the Energizer Bunnie....they just keep going and going.
They may be down to just a "few stars" but they are still racing.

Rules are rules! just because hes an ira guy doesnt mean he doesnt need to do Allstar rules! really sucks because that breaks his row of tops 5s he had going! I dont think ALLSTARS will end just because balog doesnt follow the rules and doesnt race with them!

I was at the show. I just pulled in after a 3 1/2 hour drive. No, he didn't go to the scales but, he stopped his car on the front stretch in clear view of everyone at the venue. Nobody from his crew could have touched the car to add weight ect. ect. without anyone seeing it happen. The best thing that the officials could have done is to escort him back to the scales after the front stretch interviews to make sure that no "fiddling" went on with the car in the interim and weighed him. Instead, they choose to throw the book at him.
Ofcourse, they were well within their rights to DQ him but, this raises some immidiate issues. First of all, the series is struggling to get drivers. After the way that they have treated Balog and Blaney this year I can't see this getting any better. Second of all, this isn't the first time a driver has went to front stretch after a race with this series and surpassed the scales until after the interviews. Infact, this driver (who I won't name because I hold him in extremely high regard and I don't want to start a bash fest in his direction) was driving a car owned by Guy Webb at the time and wasn't DQ'd despite the "legendary" confrontation that happened between him and the track promoter during the interview phase. Those who were there will know exactly what incident I'm talking about.
Put it this way folks, when was the last time you seen a $7,000 to win show and the series couldn't even draw enough drivers to have a b-main? The allstars are going down in a bad way and they have nobody to blame but themselves.
