so all the times we were told to be carefull what we say and everything but i cant anymore its bull that they say it just cost to much to fix the sfs but yet the contract to demolish it is 25,000.00 more 50 plus years, and all because of one pos mayor

Don't forget, Clay Bennett's "establishment" cronies and sycophants are going to spend $60 Million in MAPS 3 tax money on the "Oklahoma River" to build "a floating stage, rowing courses, grandstands, special lighting" and other "improvements." (Of course that hypocrite Clay got his "friends" to vote publically-funded subsidies for the Redhawks (new stadium) and the Thunder (millions in upgrades to the Ford Center, practice facility, special tax breaks), so I guess it's payback time for the elite special interests aligned with David Boren and Chesapeake)
And reportedly, city subsidies for golf run close to a million dollars each year!
"We can't afford it" was always an excuse that collapes under even minimal scrutiny. This has always been about Ann Simank and Clay Bennett shutting down racing at Fair Park. The top-secret ADA "settlement" and electrical "dangers" were always just carefully orchestrated tools they used to obtain their selfish goal. And an ignorant electorate will apparently let them get by with it!
