WoO LM and Lucas are both great. Not feasable to have 28 touring teams on 1 series. I have been to both WoO and HL races this year. Enjoyed both. HL doesn't shy away from giving credit to drivers accomplishments with WoO either. Remember HL is still growing and learning. I think it is great time to be a race fan with 2 top notch latemodel series and 2 top notch sprint series.

Well said Latemodel1 - bingo
the comparison with the national dirt late model situation is spot on
Now if HL and WoO would agree on about 12 majors a year and not schedule on top of each for those, perfect

Short tracks make for exciting races. No yellows or DNFs traffic was a factor but thats what fans pay to see.Gravel beat the best HL or WOO. Larsons starting on the pole wasnt the race it sometimes is. Buddy and Cory are both. very talented. If promotor didnt make money it couldnt have been a better show in front of looked like a full house especially on Wed. Missed a few but glad for 55 that showed up. Being a WOO commited driver limits them from doing what several HL did by supporting another group.

Outlaws already run what 81 races? add 4 that's 85
How many would they actually run?

Perfect example of HL and WOO racing together. The best of the best is what fans like to see instead of division among the 2 series. HLs midweek races are great but has to rely on Flo to make it work. Division has never worked in any type of competitive sports

Maybe it is not a zero sum game. Maybe there are a bunch of fans who would go to more races if they were relatively close to home.
Within hearing distance of Tri City Speedway

56 cars at a POS track, this could have carnage.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to Jacksonville as a POS track. I live 4 hours north, and people in my area absolutely love the place and travel there often for all classes. I thought the track was great and the decision to prep before feature was definitely the correct one.

Bingo to closer to home.
The main did not have much actual passing in the field except Donny Schatz moved up 12 places to finish 11th. Gravel and Larson put on a pretty good show and with a field of 24 on a small track as it was crowded adding to the chase. I expected Buddy to give them a better run but still a great race to watch streaming.
Is the WoO and HL kind of like professional football when they were two seperate groups or like basketball when there was the NBA and ABA?
Maybe if they all (WoO, HL, DV & Flo) would work together it would be better for Sprint car racing?

With over 50 cars checked in and the top 15 being the best from both HL and WOO it is similar to when the WOO would come to Knoxville they paid same amount of points as most of the time not many at that time got enough money to pay for fuel. Some like Brown could compete well but many who were very good at weekly shows had to get a break to get in A.

HL does kind of do that on their own. They don't schedule against any of the Knoxville races, the big Huset's races, the national open at the grove, or World Finals. Iron Man 55 at I55 Raceway is another race HL did not schedule against (but it is the same time as the 360 Nationals). Now how many will show up is another question. Eldora has the 2 day HL races right before the outlaws run the King's royal also. But would like to see more like this.
