History in the making this coming weekend out at Kern Speedway in CA.
What's the truth on some rummors that couple national guys flew out to run.
Austin McCarl and Ian Madsen ran there last weekend.
Might get 30 non-wing 410's I'm understanding.
Small track and nothing else is running.
Who knows maybe even TK or BUD , Rico?

To bad its not on Flo
I can't remember the last time I saw TK in a non-wing car.
As for Bud or Rico, it all depends on what it pays? You have Ocean(Fri) and Hanford(Fri, Sat) running 360 wings.

Most of the winged drivers will be racing this weekend at Hanford for the 2 day 360 sprint car event. Last I heard it will be on Flo racing.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

Oh when I saw that Thunderbowl canceled I thought King's did too.
Not really understanding how they cant race at Thunderbowl but can run 20 mins away at king's.
Since they turned King's into a 2 day show might just go to Kern friday and head up to King's saturday.
Depending on car count Friday.
Still feels great to have a couple races to look forwward to see.
Need to get out on the road.

King's...I mean Keller will run without spectators allowed. The 360s are a replacement for the originally scheduled ASCS which cancelled their western tour earlier. One of the ways to make it possible is Peter Murphy is allowing 10 people per car into the pits at $40 a head. The back gate should be pretty good.
IMCA stock cars are on Friday's card and the TriState ProStock Challenge we run with are there on Saturday. Our group has a very passionate following and we have a very loyal bunch of sponsors that allow us to have a pretty nice purse consistently.

I seemed to remember TK saying he was done with non wing after landing his lid on the wall at Tulare. IIRC he bent/ broke the cage pretty good.

Now knowing that Keller speedway in Hanford CA. is running 360's this weekend
It's safe to say most if not all cars that ran Kern last weekend will be at Keller speedway this weekend.
TK was 1 of them. He spun 360 dealing with lapper running 2.
Also showed displeasure when charged with yellow and moved to the back.

great night of racing out at Kern .Car count was good and racing was fun.
Went up to Hanford to see the kid Joel Myers (14yrs old) possibly win his first main 53 cars WOW what a race night.
That track is fastly becoming a hot spot for CA racing again.
Peter Murphy is running a top notch facilaty with huge out look on future draw there.

Crowns are stiil up at the gates and winner wheres a king's crown in victory lane
KOT stands for King's of Thunder ... King's speedway and Thunderbowl series.
Not sure what the situations is but just call it Kellers King's speedway in Hanford and call it good and go haha

The kid Joel Myers appears to be pretty solid for his age. I watched the race from Friday night and that 14 yr. old impressed me. I enjoy getting to watch the racing from CA, lots of talent out there. I think I'll just call the speedway Hanford.

So we went to racekingsspeedway.com We went to news clicked.....Said shows were canceled for 12 & 13 due to covid19......So..went to KCRP (Bakersfield) for CRA/USAC. 30 Fri and 32 Sat for car count. Racing was great! Show was over 9:30pm or very close to, each nite. Sat. we were home by 11:30 with our 2hr drive home.
Got live sprint car racing in Ca. it was great. Kings/Hanford was our first choice just could not drive 2hrs on missinformation from website. Worked out fine for us. Kings had 50-55 cars and we would have been home much later. For me looking at chemo and radiation starting on 19th. Very pleased to get a race in before I'm in no condition to make one.
My two cents.....
From central coast of Cali.
Peace, Out.
