^^^ really?
i would assume you get the usuals, Scotty thiell, Scotty Neitzel, Russell Borland, Jeremy Schultz, Scott Biertzer, Jake Blackhurst, Wayne Modjeski, and Dave Uttech. Probably throw in a 2-3 rookies who follow for ROTY and a handful of others. Should be another nice field of cars in a year that will more than likely see Balog stay away for the majority of those races. Which in turn will lead to a new points champion and create new storylines for the fans to follow. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing how the year goes for the IRA.

Couldn't agree more with north star on the Alaskan Cheesehead.
With the 17B out of the picture, we will see a whole new group come into view, which is always cool.

I think we will have more exciting (not runaway) racing and an influx of new/returning drivers and teams.
Time will tell.
I tell it like I see it.

Just saw Rayhall's aggressive summer schedule (52 races slated) which I feel a promising sign for the IRA. Also saw that Bailey Goldesberry, Kyle Schuett, and Jack Berger are running for ROTY. So that will make for some exciting racing and storylines for the year.
Another interesting aspect that may really help the IRA this year is the sporadic MOWA schedule. With fewer MOWA races scheduled, I think you're going to see 3-5 more cars showing up to the track each night the MOWA is off. Overall, the season is really starting to shape up for the long standing 410 wisconsin series.

MOWA actually has more races scheduled this year then it did in 2019. Last year was a wash. Jacksonville also has several MOWA purse non sanctioned races scheduled this year. The central IL 410 cars will have more options close to home than they have the past few years.

They'll have 25 or so that attend several races. Usually less than 10 run every show. Occasionally get 35-40.

I bet the races still go on as planned - the anouncement was just the disolving of the Hans/SLS partnership to promote the track. Most likely that was a fight over who receives alcohol sales proceeds as I'm sure that group wanted to receive those monies.

McKarns’ New Angell Park Promoters
Sun Prairie, WI- Angell Park Speedway officials announced today that they have reached a five year promotional agreement with the McKarns family beginning with the 2021 race season at the 1/3 mile dirt oval. The 43rd RPM Auto Racing Promoters of the Year, Gregg and Angie McKarns through their GA Promotions, LLC will continue the legacy of Angell Park, which first hosted Midget Auto Racing in 1946.
“We have enjoyed going to the races at Angell Park on Sunday nights as a family. Gregg started going there as a kid and when the chance to promote races was presented, our interest was peaked immediately.” Noted Angie McKarns. As owners and operators of nearby Madison International Speedway as well as the ARCA Midwest Tour for asphalt super late models, they look forward to becoming part of the dirt racing community as well. “We have strong relationships with IRA, USAC, Badger and many of the sanctioning bodies in dirt racing and look forward to building upon those in the coming years.”
"After the rollercoaster of different directions that 2021 has started off with, Angell Park Speedway is both proud and excited to announce a confirmed partnership with GA Promotions." Firemen’s Angell Park General Manager Erin Yeargin added. "Gregg and Angie have shown their unwavering consistency and interest in Angell Park since the beginning of negotiations last fall. We are confident that their knowledge and dedication will help grow Angell Park well into the future and ensure the Speedway continues to have its roots well planted in Sun Prairie"
A ten race schedule is being finalized for 2021 which will be headlined by the All Star Circuit of Champions on Sunday June 6, multiple visits by the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series and the return of the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Series on Labor Day Weekend, Sunday September 5. The mainstay Badger Midget Auto Racing Association as well as the AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints and MSA 360 Sprints will continue their involvement at the Sun Prairie oval and a visit by the DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour is being finalized.
A complete 2021 Schedule of Events which is set to begin in mid-May will be released the first week of March. For additional information visit www.angellpark.racing Angell Park Speedway is located at 315 Park Street in Sun Prairie, WI.

Yes, just announced a new promotor. Alcohol liscensing itself was not the issue as was used as an excuse by the SLS/Lein blowhards on why they had to step away, which is best for all involved. Its in better hands with the new promotors, congrats to all involved in what will hopefully be a great future!

What is the SLS? Every time we venture into the ND SD area to watch WoO we buy tickets from SLS instead of the track? Is this a group that rents the track to host a WoO show opposed to the track hosting an event? What other details can satisfy this overthinking mind?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I think your pretty much on to what they are. Promoters that find a track and a series and make an event happen. I appreciate the risks they take yearly to make more shows in my neck of the woods possible that local tracks aren't willing to put up the capital to make it happen. Tough thankless business indeed but I'm guessing it could be quite profitable at times.
